Company situation
This part will include the tools we use to determine the company situation
namely: - 1. SWOT analysis 2. PESTEL analysis and conclude its critical
issues and implications on the company.

1.SWOT Analysis

Strengths: Weakness:

1.Quality certified 1.Limited domain

2.Skilled manpower 2.Customers not trusting Indian capabilities

3.Well established infrastructure 3.availability of more trusted products from

foreign companies
4.profound partnerships- Cisco, EMC, Microsoft,
Oracle, and SAP

Opportunities: Threats:

1.Huge potential in domestic market 1.Increasing cost of Human capital

2.Plenty of opportunities in the coming age of 2.new competition rising day by day
technology.
3.presence of global giants in the market
3.benifit under make in India scheme.
Strengths of WIPRO: - One of the biggest strengths of Wipro is that it diversifies
product offerings i.e., it utilizes its assets in a well-planned manner to produce
profit and achieve higher sales volume from new products. Secondly, they have
simplified the operating model. All their strategic priorities will be executed
simply and in a standardized way. This would enable focused growth, focus in
building capabilities and ensuring dedicated sales presence led by proximity to
clients.

Weaknesses of WIPRO: - WIPRO has established its operations in the Indian

subcontinent only which has made its roots rigid to operate in the global market.
Secondly, most of its target audience is of India however, Indian customers do not
have much trust in the services developed under Indian technology due to poor past
experiences and foreign Companies remaining up to date with new technologies.
these foreign companies are able to provide services cheaper and of better quality.

Opportunities of Wipro: - Wipro is a global company, so they can take advantage

of global opportunities to increase its market share. It also has the capacity to
capture domestic Indian IT industry, leading them to expand more.

Threats of Wipro: - One of the biggest threats to a company is the stiff

competition in the global market. Firms always compete with each other for the
buyers. On the other hand, the high cost of human capital is another big threat to
companies. This can result in affecting the profitability of the firm as recruiting
people can be very costly.
2. PESTLE analysis
Political:
Political factors influence Wipro's operations in various ways. The first is
liberalization. With the introduction of the New Economic Policy, Wipro is now
able to dominate overseas markets, and as a result offers a variety of benefits. After
liberalization, the Indian IT market developed rapidly. The company was able to
expand its business further. In addition, free trade is supported by government
policies. Previous years, the IT industry has grown under adverse conditions. As a
result of free trade, Wipro has favourable conditions for developing. The
government plays a crucial role in the development and strengthening of the
software industry.
Economic:
Companies' success is often determined by the prevailing economic conditions. In
particular, Wipro Inc. is affected by the following factors. The first is increased
foreign investment. Over the past few years, the company has received many
foreign investments in its software technology park. This alone has ensured that
future growth is taken into account in the coming years. Secondly, economic
stability has been one of the factors affecting the growth of the company. Several
firms, including Wipro, are interested in changes in the local and global economy.
This is because economic changes influence the firm's pricing strategy and,
therefore, its profitability. Third, economic policies have changed considerably in
the country, allowing Wipro to concentrate fully on its growth strategy. As a result
of these changes, the software industry has been strengthened, and fair economic
policies have and will continue to benefit the company. Fourth, the exchange rate
has changed. Having a high exchange rate allows Wipro to take advantage of other
players in the industry. It has also made it possible for Wipro to offer products and
services at low prices compared to its competitors.
Social:
Despite technological advances in the 21st century, a number of social obstacles
remain to fully implementing information technology. There are a number of social
factors that have influenced Wipro's market operations, including public
acceptance of self-service models, resistance, the digital divide, and cultural
influences. All these factors will demand an immense amount of intellectual
capital.
Technological:
As a whole, the IT industry, as well as this company, rely heavily on the
technological environment. Organisations, for instance, use technological
innovations like e-commerce services. At Wipro, however, the following factors
have remained critical. The first is easy access to different business customers. It's
true that clients are a company's top stakeholders but getting them is extremely
challenging. Wipro, on the other hand, has been able to connect with its clients
more easily thanks to its technological innovations. Second, technology makes
offshore businesses easier to deal with. Nowadays, thanks to technological
advances, customers can access our company no matter where they are. Suppliers
are no exception.

Legal:
In response to changes in the law and environment, Wipro Technologies Inc. acted
quickly. Any company has a responsibility to protect the environment, and that is
why Wipro always complies with environmental regulations. It is extremely
important for an IT company to develop new technology that increases
environmental sustainability. Wipro Inc. faces employment law issues as well.
Employees are entitled to certain rights under the law.

Environmental:
The environment is changing rapidly, so being responsive is important. In order to
achieve business sustainability, the company adheres to environmental standards.
For example, green technology indicates that the company cares for the
environment.
3.Critical issues
Wipro Currently faces some critical issues such as: Mandatory salary is to be
provided under the pandemic where no actual labour is being done. Wipro is
limited to the Indian subcontinent; they need to expand in the global market if they
desire foreign investments. Also, no actual promotion is being carried out in the
Indian market. And the competition with global giants such as TCS, Infosys, HCL
etc. overshadows the company,

4.Implications
The pandemic has reduced the customers willingness to spend on products and
Gross profit is going down drastically.
