Single-Seated Control Valve

The MFCV001 is a globe-style, single-seated and direct-acting control


valve. The design features unbalanced valve plug, post-guided and
fast trim-interchangeability. MFCV001 single-seated control valves
are used for on-off and throttling control. They are suitable for a
wide range of pressure drops and temperature ranges. The process
mediums include water, gas, liquid, steam and viscous fluids. The
applications cover different industries such as oil and gas, chemical,
power generation and the steel industry.

Characteristics

quickly interchangeable. The valve body can remain in the pipeline
when disassembling the valve trims.

Bonnet styles
There are different bonnet types available: Standard B0, Extension B1,
Extension B2 and Bellow Type B3, particularly designed for different
process temperatures and leakage requirements.

Higher Flow Capacity


The flow channel has a characteristic design, offering better flow capacity
compared to normal valves. The direction of flow, up through the port,
will clean the build-up of material in the retainer and the valve cavity,
thereby reducing the possibility of the plug becoming sticky.

Seat ring with improved performance


The clamped-in seat ring is available in full-port or flow-straightening
vane type, offering improved open-loop and close-loop performance,
for non-viscous, flow-up, fluid application.

Sour gas service capability


The valve is available with construction and materials which comply
with standard NACE MR0175-2002 and NACE MR0103, thereby
qualifying for sour gas and liquid applications.

MFCV001 control valve packing system has 4 variety designs: V-Type


Single PTFE, V-Type Double PTFE, Graphite Composite, ES Type and HS
Type, as well as Bellows Seal System.

ES packing is defined as an advanced packing system using a compact


live-loaded spring design. This is an improved packing system and is
typically used for enhanced control of leakage.

HS packing system uses higher loading pressure springs, with


additional packing bonnet travel. This packing system is used in
those applications that have extreme requirements for
pressure and temperature.

The Bellows Seal System offers the strictest seal design. This helps to
seal the process to conserve valuable process fluid. It also protects the

ES Graphite Seal System


ES Graphite Seal System is designed mainly for temperatures above
232°C (450°F). It has a full temperature range of -7°C ~ 316°C (20
~ 600°F) and still maintains the strict leakage criteria. For best
performance the service temperatures should be higher than 149°C
(300°F). When the temperature is below 149°C (300°F), packing wear
may be accelerated compared to higher temperature applications.

Graphite Composite Packing System


The Graphite Composite Packing System is a non-live-loading packing.
It features solid rings of ribbon-style graphite with sacrificial zinc
washers, to be used in High Temperature Oxidizing Service. This
packing system is typically used for temperatures between
371 to 649 oC ( 700 to 1200 oF)

HS Graphite Packing System


HS Graphite Packing System is identical to the ES Graphite Packing
System below the packing follower. It uses large diameter springs to
offer additional follower travel and packing load. This packing system
has remarkably low stem friction and excellent seal performance,
which ensures a long usage lifetime.

Micro-Flow Valve Trim Design


The MFCV001 Single Seated Control Valve has different trim designs. Apart from the standard full flow trim, there are three flow restricted trims
which are available for micro flow control requirement. Flow characteristics depend on the construction design of the trim.

FLOW-A FLOW-B

FLOW-A is an unbalanced trim with a linear plug characteristic. This is a FLOW-B is used for flow range between Flow-A and Flow-C with equal

Shutoff Capability
MFCV001 Control Valve shutoff capability is in compliance with standard ANSI/FCI70-2
and IEC60534-4. When using a metal seat, the shutoff Class is IV, with an option of Class V or
Class VI. When using PTFE composite seat, VI Class is available.

These in-body process temperatures assume an outside, ambient temperature of 70 °F (21 °C). When using any packing at low process
temperatures, a cast extension bonnet may have to be used to prevent packing damage which could result from the formation of valve stem frost.

Bellows Seal Bonnet


Bellows Seal System has excellent stem sealing capability, and excellent
corrosion resistance. Special construction design avoids the problem of
over-heating by process fluid.

Features:

Cycle Life: Longer life with proper use and maintenance.

Easy Installation: Mounted to existing valves. Mounting package


available.

Rugged Construction An anti-rotator pin helps prevent accidental
