Purpose of Joining MCB for my 6 Weeks Internship

MCB Bank Limited, with more than 60 years of experience as one of the leading banks in Pakistan, was incorporated on July 9 in 1947. Its growth has been phenomenal. 1 Week of my Internship in MCB Bank Ltd. Eidgah Branch Bahawalpur :

11 July 2011-Monday:
My Six (6) weeks internship has been approved from MCB Head Office on 9th July 2011 and 11th July is my 1st day of Internship. I entered in the Branch at sharp 9:00am where Branch Manager (Asgher shah OG1) and other Branch Officers were ready to perform their daily tasks, duties and operations. First I entered in the manager s room and introduce myself. He welcomed me in his Branch then he introduced me to the rest of the staff. I started learning as an internee with a seat in front of Customer Services Officer (Miss Bushra). During my first day of internship I have learned:     How to Deposit the amount in our Account How to fill the deposit Slips (I filled almost 7 Deposit slips of customers that day) The CSO (Miss Bushra) give me brochures of different products of MCB for reading. I observe the tasks and duties performed by Branch Officers that day.

 How to Transfer money to others Branches of MCB  How to fill Online Slip (I filled 5-6 Online Slips that day)  Customers Service Officer tells me briefly about Account Opening and Charges Incur on Monthly basis on these accounts.
