They live in the eucalypt forests and low eucalypt woodlands of eastern Australia. Koalas are mostly nocturnal and sleep up to

20 hours a day. An adult koala eats about 1 kilogram of leaves each night.

It’s a baby koala. Born blind, furless and earless, a joey uses its senses of touch and smell to get to the mother’s pouch, where it

Prefixes and suffixes


In English, it’s possible to add a letter or a group of letters to a word to change its meaning. A prefix is
placed at the beginning of a word while a suffix is added to the end. Here are some examples:

ƒ happily: in a happy way, contentedly
ƒ unhappily: in an unhappy manner, unfortunately
