Assessment:
1. Which planet is considered as the Earth “twin planet”?
 Venus
2. From your answer in number 1 why are they considered twin planet?
 Because they almost have the same size or diameter, weight almost the same and
has very similar compositions.
3. Which among the three planets is closest to the sun? farthest from the sun?
 Venus is the closest to the sun while Mars is the farthest to the sun.
4. Give a supporting fact/s from your answer in number 3 based from the data found in table
1.
 Venus is close to the sun on the grounds that the circle of Venus is shifted
concerning the circle of the Earth, at sub-par combination Venus typically passes
just beneath or simply over the Sun. Once in a while thing line up with the goal
that Venus passes straightforwardly before the Sun as seen from the Earth
5. Which planet has the slowest rotational speed?
 Venus
6. What makes Earth the only planet that can cater life?
 It is at the proper distance from the Sun, is shielded from harmful solar radiation
by its magnetic field, is kept warm by an insulating atmosphere, and contains the
necessary chemical ingredients for life, including water and carbon.

WHAT I CAN DO

Preserving Natural Resources

Natural resources are those that exist naturally on Earth. It is an essential part of our daily
lives. Air, water, sunlight, coal, petroleum, natural gas, fossil fuels, oil, and other natural
resources are examples of natural resources. Humans, on the other hand, have exploited these
resources for economic gain. Overuse of natural resources has resulted in depletion, posing a
serious threat to the human race's survival. Conservation of nature entails caring for and
protecting natural resources such as forests, water bodies, natural gases, minerals, and fuels so
that they remain abundant. Nature provides us with a variety of resources. Natural resources are
those that are provided by nature without the intervention of humans.
Humans are either directly or indirectly dependent on natural resources for their survival
in all spheres. They also help to maintain the ecosystem's balance. They are sufficient to meet
our needs, but they are rapidly depleting. Humans are the primary cause of this. The world is
running out of natural resources as a result of rising population, urbanization, technological
advancement, and so on. Natural resources are classified into two types: renewable and
nonrenewable. Renewable resources are those that can be formed or replenished after a certain
period of time. For example, solar, energy, biofuel, and so on. Non-renewable resources, on the
other hand, are those that are difficult to regenerate or may take several years to form.
We must conserve natural resources if we are to live a happy life on Earth. We can
conserve these resources by utilizing renewable resources rather than nonrenewable resources.
Planting trees will be extremely beneficial. Saving water, electricity, and other natural resources
can also help to conserve natural resources. As a result, in order to provide future generations
with the same quality of life that we have, we must conserve natural resources.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Dear Future Generation,

Kids, anything age you are currently, I'm certain you are just kids in contrast with mine.
In any case, I'm writing to ask about the condition of the earth. Is the grass actually green, or has
the dirt dried out a lot to help life? Is there actually water on the planet, or has everything
vanished? Is nature still with you, or have you left for another planet?
As an individual of my age, I can guarantee you that the ground is as yet green. Water
keeps on covering 71% of the world's surface. The trees are as yet standing tall and come in
different assortments, as do the grasses, which range from short to tall.
Nature, then again, is as of now saying great by. The south's frigid terrains are slowly
dissolving. The ozone layer is being drained. The dirt is dissipating. Environmental change is
undeniably more extreme than my emotional episodes. Deforestation is wild. Both the air and the
water are dirtied. Fish populations are declining, as are creature populations. A wide range of
creature species is either jeopardized or terminated.
I truly trust that you have some way or another mended the earth for people in the future.
However, the opposite side of my mind tells me in any case, since I'm mindful of human
brutality. I trust you're getting along nicely, regardless of what your identity or race you have a
place with.

Sincerely Yours,
Ascendant
