Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate Senior QA Automation Engineer to work on successful telecom
and IT projects and learn about industry trends and needs.

Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
 Test and implement quality assurance activities within a typical software development and
delivery cycle
 Process functional specs and test requirements, develop test plans, manual and automated test
cases
 Experience a mix of manual-automation tasks with respect to product development moment
 Maintain, run and debug automated tests in regression suites
 Get involved in product design to reach compliance and test coverage for meeting end-user
requirements
  Document and maintain a consistent set of test cases and test results that enables future
debugging
 Create analysis reports and communicate results efficiently to product team
 Provide support for junior QA engineer and internship students

Requirements:
 Previous experience as a QA Engineer – minimum of 5 years
 Bachelor’s degree and/ or Master’s degree in relevant area (Informatics, Computer Science,
Telecommunications)
 Solid knowledge of Waterfall/Agile software development methodologies and QA concepts
 Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols
 Basic/medium understanding of telecom ecosystems and protocols
 Linux knowledge and shell scripting
 Strong experience with OOP (Java, Python, C++) and building automated scripts
 REST API and SOAP knowhow
 Hands -on with versioning tools (e.g. GIT)
 Basic CI/CD knowledge (e.g. Jenkins)
 Solid experience with bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
 Very good communication & interaction skills
 Good command of tasks and time management, initiative and results oriented attitude
 Ability to work in virtual teams
 Proficiency in English

Bonus skills and experience:

 Selenium or any other GUI automation tool knowledge
 Virtualization experience
 Docker and K8S knowledge
 CCNA/CCNP
 Creativity is always a plus
