Introduction
This booklet contains a set of tables of tariffs for services provided at CHAG PRIMARY CARE
HOSPITALS (Catering exclusive) in Ghana. Each tariff is related to the Ghana Diagnostic
Related Groupings. These tariffs take effect from 1st October 2022. The purpose of this
booklet is to enable users to determine the tariff for services rendered for the G-DRG of
each patient.
Tables
The tables are divided into the Major Diagnostic Categories (MDCs), that is, according to
their specialties such as Adult Surgery, Dental, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Medical,
Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Investigation, ZOOM, Outpatient, Orthopaedics,
Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Reconstructive Surgery and Paediatric Surgery.
The tables consist of the GDRG codes, and their respective descriptions and the
corresponding tariff on the same row. To find the tariff look for the full G-DRG, and then
