12) Greg since childhood used to spend all his free time on collecting birds,
animals and insects. He got up very early every morning and went to the beach. There
he was catching small crabs and, sometimes, small fish and carried them home.

13) While walking home he used to visit the fisherman’s hut, where he often
managed to find unusual insects.

14) Mary used to work in small hospital in Brighton in former times. Now she is
world famous plastic surgeon, and she often sees herself on the top of magazines.

15) Tom used to drive badly. He did everything, which a driver mustn’t do. He
accelerated when he should slow down, he ignored traffic lights, he turned there, where
wasn’t turning, and he left the car in forbidden places.

16) Before I got this job I hadn’t travelled so much. Now I can visit five places
during a week.

17) When I was a child, I used to go to the Crimea with my parents every summer.
Every year we choose a new place. Every spring my parents took a map of Crimea and
learnt the coastline, trying to find something new. They used to argue at the beginning,
because mother usually proposed calm village, but father didn’t like it.

18) Being young and pure Denis used to borrow money from relatives and friends.
But when he became rich, he didn’t lend any coin to anyone.

19) When I studied at school, I couldn’t stand up early. I hate it till now.

20) He was independent man, and didn’t use to be ordered about. He had never
obeyed orderds and never taken anything for granted.

21) When we moved into a small village in Dorsete, I couldn’t get used to the
country life. I spent sleepless nights, yearning for noise and lights of a big city.

22) It is the fairytales book, which I used to read to my son, when he was a child.
He liked it very much then. Every night he asked to read him this book.
