We present "the ring of the hinojosa" is a
tourism proyect designed by the province
of central boyaca .The Hinojosa is
reconized characters of tunjuana society
in colonials times ,distinguished ,libertine
and influencial women.
It is said that Toca was in pre-
Columbian
times and natives paid tribute and
homage to the lord of Iraca.The
conquistadores ,con their way to
the Eastern plains,the name das
given "Big town", because of the
large number of houses and largo
number of natives
SORACA
In pre-Columbian times, the territory
of the current municipality of Soracá
was inhabited by the Soracaes Indians
of the Muisca Confederation. The
Soracaes were tributaries of the Zaque
de Hunza (present-day Tunja). In
1537 the Spanish conquistador
Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada arrived
in Soracá, and on October 7, 1776 the
town was elevated to the category of
parish by decree of the Archbishop of
Santafé de Bogotá, Agustín de
Alvarado y Castillo.
The corner house where the Hinojosa Sisters lived still stands
in the plaza of Oicatá.
The historical importance attributed to the municipality of
Oicatá is mainly due to the fact that its doctrinal temple was
one of the first to serve as a pilot center for evangelization,
since its proximity to Tunja allowed for special attention; the
artistic (architectural) quality is similar to that of Tunja.
Currently the temple of the municipality of Oicatá is
considered a National Monument.
TUTA
Tuta, name of indigenous origin. Its
first inhabitants were called Tutas.
Tuta according to some historians,
in Chibcha language, translates son
of the Sun. The place inhabited by
the indigenous Tutas, is located in
the deep depression whose
composition is firmly accentuated
on the tertiary formations of rapid
drainage and secure basic support
for construction, at whose base runs
on volcanic rocks of the
Chicamocha River.

The marshmallow
Recipe based on panela or sugar cane
honey, which elsewhere in the country
is also recognized with the names of
alfandoque, melcochudo, caramel or
alfeñique; consisting of very
concentrated and hot honey that, when
lifted is placed on cold water, to make
it brittle.
Feijoa
Homemade sweet based on
feijoa, fruit grown in
boyacences lands and
which, in this particular
case, is used unpeeled so
that it can curdle; it is
sweetened with sugar and
left refrigerated for
consumption the following
day
