TITLE- OUR ICEBERG IS MELTING.

BOOK SUMMARY-

❖ There was a colony of penguins living together on an iceberg since

their grandfather’s time.
❖ Fred is an observant and curious penguin who first observed that the
iceberg they were at was melting gradually. He was worried and
wanted advice.
❖ Alice who is always practical and gives good advice was his option.
Fred and Alice decided to first test the theory before stirring up a
conversation between everybody.
❖ They both took a glass bottle and sealed it before putting it in the
iceberg. They assumed that the bottle will break if there is actual
melting of the iceberg.
❖ The following morning the bottle was found in pieces. This confirmed
Fred’s suspicion of a melting iceberg.
❖ They both created a sense of urgency and explained to the colony what
was happening and started to work on it by creating a team for guiding
the tribe. The team consisted of Louis, Fred, Alice, Buddy, and
Professor.
❖ Nono was a member of the tribe who forecasted weather but was
always blamed for being wrong he was against this idea of finding a
new iceberg or accepting the fact that the iceberg was actually melting.
❖ One following day the group of penguins saw a seagull flying, looking
lost but not at all afraid. This was the time when everyone wondered
if this was the way the seagull lived. This stirred up the conversation
even more than before.
❖ This developed a change vision and they developed a strategy.
❖ The strategy was that the young and enthusiastic penguins would find
a new iceberg that was safe for living and was melting fast.these
penguins were called scouts and they were excited and happy to help
with this strategy.
❖ They communicated with each other well to understand all points and
views.
❖ There were some in the group that was trying to disrupt this process
but nothing could stop an amazing vision which would benefit them
