I. Introduction
Level 1 readers are the target audience for this reading material. The
readers will be able to read the alphabet and make its sounds with this
reading material. The students are able to specify and recognize the first
letter and its sounds. They will also be able to deduce the meaning of the
terms from the teachers' illustrations.

• Present the letter through tracing activity.
• The teacher will tell the name of the letter and its
sound. Then together the teacher and the students
will do it until the students do it by their own.
• Present the pictures that start with Ss.
• Give the words that starts with letter Ss.
IV. Activities
• Tracing the letter Ss.
• Identify the Letter and its sound.
• Give the initial sound of the pictures and words.
• Give the meaning of the words based on the
pictures.

Trace Me!
Direction: The teacher will give student a tracing worksheet and will let the
students to trace the letter Ss.

Activity 2: Find Me!
Direction: The teacher will give a copy of this worksheet for each student.
The students will trace and find the letter S and color it with red.

Activity 3: Match the Pic!
Direction: The teacher will show the words that starts with the letter Ss.
Then, the students will give the meaning of the word by matching the pictures
