CHAPTER 1

PROJECT SUMMARY

The intended business of the proponents is briefly explained in this chapter. The

following discussion will provide the reader with an understanding of the product and/or

service descriptions, the business profile of the product and/or service, benefits of the

product/or service, and potential business problems. This comprises the organization's

vision, mission, and objectives, as well as its nature and kind. This paper will tackle all

related information about how we will make this proposed business successfully

happen.

Introduction

Coffeehouses, whether alone or in small groups, generally function as hubs of

social interaction from a cultural standpoint: a coffeehouse offers clients with a space

to socialize, speak, read, write, entertain one another, or pass the time. Cafés

objectives are mostly focused on the consumer. They strive to strike a compromise

between catering to customers' general demands, such as comfort and privacy, while

also taking into consideration specific distinctions in user requirements, such as

separate workspaces. The coffee shop operates on a retail business model, which

means it competes with other businesses in the neighborhood. In contrast to the

wholesale business model, the coffee shop has direct access to consumers, who are

generally locals from the community.

One of the reasons for coffee's popularity is that it is a cheap and uncomplicated

pleasure, especially in light of recent global economic shifts and price increases on

nearly everything. Coffee is made from the seeds of a little red fruit that grows on plants

that are between shrub and tree in size. The process of converting these seeds into

beverage is a long and complicated one, maybe the most complex of any commercial

beverage. In 2015, the roast coffee market in the Philippines was valued at 262.30

million USD (at retail prices). The coffee market in the Philippines is expected to grow

at a CAGR of 13.74 percent per year from 2020 to 2025, reaching 1.33 billion USD (in

retail prices).

The total coffee consumed in the

Philippines in 2020 was about 3.3 million

60 kg bags. This reflects a long-term

increase in coffee consumption over the

years.

The worldwide coronavirus epidemic is putting pressure on and compelling the

Philippine government to act. To propose a better business strategy that embraces the

"new epidemic process" in the coffee shop sector. Coffee Shops are now adjusting to

build alternative restaurant business models that conform to or comply with the IATF's

rigorous health requirements, such as physical separation, masking, and limiting

coffee shop dine-ins, among other things. Restaurant operators might expect lower

profits as a result of these limitations and the continual dread of becoming ill. As the

coronavirus puts the food supply chain under pressure, Filipinos have shown more

solidarity and goodwill, including landlords, restaurateurs, and small farmers assisting

one another.

Name of the Enterprise/Firm

The Caffeinated Ideas came from the owners of Business, namely Belo, Balaga,

Canda, Deapera, Marohombsar, Ogatis, and Siran. The cup and beans represent that

happiness and joyful, blue for trust, honesty, and dependability, and red for attention-

getting, warmth, and power. Overall for brown are the reliability and nurturing. While for

white brown are for neatness, openness, approachability, and friendliness. Lastly, for

the green, it is vitality and renewal.

committee. Recognizing personnel accomplishments promotes commitment, boosts

creativity, and also minimizes workplace conflict. Teamwork, much less guaranteeing

that all workers are trained, could be a difficult endeavor.

latte macchiato. The word macchiato means “marked” in Italian. So an Espresso

Macchiato is mostly espresso, marked with a small amount of steamed milk and

foam for those who love a rich, bold taste.

BREWED COFFEES

 Brewed Coffee

Brewed Coffee creates a refreshing, convenient, and caffeinated drink for busy

mornings. Cold brewed coffee tastes less acidic than hot brewed coffee from the

same beans, and it’s famously mellow and smooth. This not only creates a

coffee that is flavorful, smooth, and mellow, but also one that can hold up for

days and still taste fresh.

Ingredients:

 1 cup (113 grams) whole coffee beans

 4 cups (907 grams) water

Symbol 66: Ingredients of Brewed Coffee

Preparations:

1. Coarsely grind the coffee. Grind the coffee beans on the coarsest setting on your

grinder, or in short 1-second pulses in a spice grinder. The grounds should look like

coarse cornmeal, not fine powder. You should have just under 1 cup of grounds.

2. Combine the coffee and water. Transfer the coffee grounds to the container you're

using to make the cold brew. Pour the water over top. Stir gently with a long-handled

spoon to make sure the grounds are thoroughly saturated with water.

3. Steep Overnight. Cover the jar with a lid or a small plate to protect it from dust and

bugs. Let the coffee steep for about 12 hours. The coffee can be left on the counter

or refrigerated; steeping time is the same.

4. Strain the coffee. Line a small strainer with cheesecloth or flour sack cloth and place

over a large measuring cup or bowl. Pour the coffee through the strainer.

5. Store the coffee. Transfer the coffee to a small bottle or jar and store in the fridge

for up to a week.

6. Serve the Coffee. Dilute the coffee with as much water or milk as you prefer. Serve

over ice or warm for a few minutes in the microwave.

 Java Express

Java Express are not coffee nibs. They're chocolate chips, resembling the ones

you use in cookies, but designed specifically for blended drinks such as frappes.

They're a topping that comes last and completes the drink.

Ingredients:

 4 tablespoon chocolate syrup

 4 tablespoon chocolate chips

 4 cups double-strength freshly brewed dark roast coffee

 Chopped or crushed ice

 Whipped cream

 Chocolate syrup

Symbol 103: Ingredients of Java Express

Preparations:

1. First things first: you need to brew your coffee. You can use whatever kind of

coffee you want, and for a stronger drink, pour in a shot of espresso instead.

2. Next, add all the ingredients except the ice — chocolate chips, coffee (or

espresso!), and chocolate syrup — to your blender and blend until the ingredients

are mixed but still chunky.

3. After your mocha mixture has been blended, add one to two cups of ice cubes to

the blender, and blend until the drink is smooth.

4. You’re almost ready to enjoy your frappuccino! Pour the mixture into a tall glass,

and top it off with a dollop of sweet, fluffy whipped cream. Drizzle chocolate syrup

on top and you’re finished! (If you feel like adding a little something extra, you

can add chocolate shavings to your toppings, too — so delicious!)

 Mocha Slide

The term "slide" refers to a drop of caramel or chocolate syrup, as the name

implies. This iced speciality drink is one of our best sellers since it is frosty

enough to lift your spirits at any time of day. As the name implies, a "slide" is a

drop of caramel or chocolate syrup at the bottom of a mocha latte. Mocha lattes

may assist you in focusing and reducing anxiety. While coffee by itself might

cause anxiety, adding chocolate to the mix lowers the effects and improves your

general attention span, which is great news for students who need to focus

APPETIZER

 Pesto Pasta

Caffeinated Ideas' spaghetti pesto is a smash hit because it's one of the finest

ways to use up a glut of fresh basil. Pine nuts, garlic, Parmesan or Romano

cheese, and extra virgin olive oil are used in this basil pesto recipe. It just takes

15 minutes to make!

The pesto sauce should not be heated since it will ruin the color, flavor, and

texture of the fresh basil. This is why I advise you to keep the spaghetti warm.

The pesto will be "heated" by the pasta without affecting its composition!

Ingredients:

 Pasta

 Basil

 ½ pack Tomato

 Cheese

 2-3 Garlic cloves

 200 gram Spaghetti

 125 gram Pine Nut

 125 gram Parmesan

 200 mls Olive Oil

Cheren, the sauce is done.

4. Watch the magic happen when you add a pinch of salt to boiling water. Add the

 Mozarella

Mozzarella sticks are elongated pieces of battered or breaded mozzarella. The

deep-fried snack is often served at restaurants and sometimes added to an

"appetizer sampler".

Ingredients:

 2 large eggs, beaten

 ¼ cup water

 1 ½ cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs

 ½ teaspoon garlic salt

 ⅔ cup all-purpose flour

 ⅓ cup cornstarch

 2 cups oil for frying, or as needed

 1 pack of Eden cheese

Preparations:

1. Slice a block of whole milk mozzarella down through the center. Then cut those

halves into sticks a few inches tall and about 1/2″ thick.

2. Whisk an egg with salt and a touch of water, then dip each cheese stick into the

egg to coat. Then dip each piece into a bowl of Italian bread crumbs.

3. Breading a piece of cheese with dry bread crumbs. Freeze the mozzarella sticks

right on the tray for at least two hours. This is absolutely essential and this step

should not be skipped, otherwise the cheese will melt too quickly in the fryer,

before the shell has a chance to set.

4. Once the fat is 365F, deep fry the mozzarella sticks, lowering them gently but

quickly, one-by-one. Cook for about 2 minutes, until golden brown. You’re really

going for color here, more than anything. This golden color is perfect.

5. Let the mozzarella sticks drain on a paper towel briefly.

Waste Disposal

Caffeinated Ideas’ produce significant amounts of garbage that must be disposed

of swiftly and easily to keep the firm running properly. Food waste, plastics, glass, and

other miscellaneous goods make up the majority of this. In the fast-paced environment

of a hospitality business, it's critical to have trash disposal systems in place that run

smoothly. Perfect waste management does not occur spontaneously. Getting a green

waste bin, will fill over half of our bins with food scraps. We will also comply with all the

waste disposal regulations by the City of Pasay, DENR, and IATF. We always care

about the hygiene that our cafe have. Having a neat and clean place will have a great

impact in our business.

very strong regular coffee, but you’ll need to double the amount: use 4 oz instead

of 2).

creating a “mark” on the foam

Procedures of Brewed Coffee Grand (4pcs):

Procedure of Mozarella Grand (4pcs):
