fire, and so will love be perfected in pain..1 Corinthians, 13:1-13 say....I may be
able to speak the languages of human beings and even of angels, but if I have no

gift of inspired preaching; I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I
may have the faith needed to move mountains-but if I have no love, I am nothing. I
may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be burned-but if I
have no love, this does me no good......Corinthians 13 also say Love is patient.
Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude.

trusts, hopes, perseveres.......1 Timothy 1:5 also say, Love comes from a pure
heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.....Just because something good
ends doesn't mean something better won't begin.....The mind is what should listen,
but it is the heart that should speak.......1 Corinthians 13:13 say There are three
things that remain - faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is
love........When your heart begins to desire another person's happiness, this isn't
some trifling amusement; this is true love.......Hebrews 11:1 say Faith is the
substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.......1 John 4:18

Colossians 3:12-19

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves
with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other
and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the
Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all
together in perfect unity.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you
were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly
as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms,
hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you
do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks
to God the Father through him.

Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

Bible Verse That Says God Is Love

1 John 4:7-8 ESV Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and
whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. (8) Anyone who does not love does
not know God, because God is love.
Jesus Commanded Love

John 13:34-35 ESV A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just
as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. (35) By this all people will
know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

John 15:12-14 ESV This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have
loved you. (13) Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life
for his friends. (14) You are my friends if you do what I command you.

1 John 3:23-24 ESV And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his
Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. (24) Whoever
keeps his commandments abides in him, and he in them. And by this we know that he
abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
Matthew 22:36-40 ESV Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law? (37) And
he said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your mind. (38) This is the great and first commandment.
(39) And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (40) On
these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.
Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

1 John 4:16-19 ESV So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for
us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
(17) By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day
of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. (18) There is no fear
in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and
whoever fears has not been perfected in love. (19) We love because he first loved
us.
We Love Because He First Loved Us

1 John 4:19-21 ESV We love because he first loved us. (20) If anyone says, I love
God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother
whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. (21) And this commandment we
have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
Bible Description Of Love

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it
is not arrogant (5) or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable
or resentful; (6) it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
(7) Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all
things.
Without Love All Is Nothing

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ESV If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have
not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. (2) And if I have prophetic
powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so
as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (3) If I give away all I
have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
