Recommend prior knowledge: FD116 ISO 9001:2015 Foundation (QMS)
This course is designed for Learners who have prior knowledge of quality management principles and
concepts, and the requirements of ISO 9001. Learning objective and enabling objectives will require
Learners to apply and extend this prior knowledge in the context of performing a management system
audit.
Please be advise that course examination questions could relate to any requirement of ISO 9001 and
the expected prior knowledge.
If you want to gain the prior knowledge, we strongly recommend you, by completing an CQI and
IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Foundation (QMS)Training or equivalent.

Certificate
IRCLASS will issue a CQI-IRCA approved “Certificate of Achievement” to the Learners who pass
both the continuous assessment and final examination.

1. Strong internet connection, minimum 10MbPs Speed

2. Please note; Router may give better connectivity than Wi-Fi
3. Laptop/Desktop has camera OR WEB-CAM; as you need to be on the camera through
the training sessions each day including online examination.

5. A headset – this reduces problems with feedback and background noise and make it easier
for participants to unmute their mics, and so engage more readily in conversations and
discussions
6. User System; Operating System (OS) should be more than version 8.1 and above i.e. it
should be Windows 8.2 or windows 10.
7. If I am using company laptop; I need to take help of our IT department to download Safe
Exam Browser (SEB) software, required for online examination.
8. Learner manual will be sent to you after the receipt of the payment for prior study.
9. You require to print hard copy of management System standard supplier to you e.g.
ISO9001:2015
10. Also please keep note pad and pencil/pen handy for taking notes.
11. Tutor may record few VILT sessions as part of the training.

 Pre-course questionnaire: A pre-course questionnaire will be sent to you well in advanced you
need to solve it and sent through email to your Tutor.
How to log onto the virtual classroom platform.:
We use Microsoft-Teams as a virtual platform for the delivery of the training
A separate weblink will be sent well in advance to the training through mail along with
complete set of study material in .pdf format.
You need to down load the Microsoft-Teams application on your Desktop/Laptop.
1-day prior to training, Tutor will interact with you through Microsoft-Team’s platform,
wherein problems if any related to joining the platforms Mike setting, Speaker Setting will
get resolved.

What to expect in a virtual classroom environment?

During the ice-break session tutor will also provide the guidelines on following points;
 How the virtual classroom works
o What is expected of learners, including participation and interaction?
o How to use common tools in the virtual classroom?
 How to network with other learners on the programme, e.g. WhatsApp group or Split
class-room
