Core Entry Requirements (V4)

ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor - Online Blended Course

SEQM Training recommends that delegates have the following prior knowledge before
attending this course:

Management Systems

o The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle.

o The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between top
management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement,
review, and continual improvement.

Work Experience

o It is recommended that anyone wishing to attend this course has some work-based
experience in Quality Management (based on ISO 9001) or Internal Auditing in advance of
registering for this training course.

Quality Management

o The fundamental concepts and the seven quality management principles (see ISO 9000):
Customer focus, leadership, Engagement of people, Process Approach, Improvement,
Evidence-based decision making, Relationship Management.

o The relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction.

o The Process Approach used in quality management, including the structure and content of
ISO 9001, which may be gained by completing an IRCA certified QMS Foundation Training
course or equivalent.

ISO 9001

o Knowledge of the requirement and understanding of ISO 9001 and the commonly used
quality management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 9000.

o Knowledge of the requirements is a key pre-requisite in attending this course as without a


good understanding, the course & final examination may be very challenging.

Please ensure the following requirements are available to you before attending

Access to Copy of ISO 9001:2015


o A digital copy of the standard is available on the training course LMS and on the
examination portal for use during the CQI and IRCA examination. This is licensed to
SEQM Training Ltd and provided for your reference only.
o It is recommended that each participant should have access to their own printed clean
copy of the standard for the course. This is not provided by SEQM Training.
EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
To ensure that you can view learning content online and complete the course successfully
using our Learning Management System we recommend the following minimum technical
setup:

• Preferably Desktop PC or Laptop.


Large screen tablets can be used if there is no other option.
(Mobile phones are not suitable due to the small screen size).

• An integrated speaker and microphone headset is highly recommended, or


Microphone (Internal or external) and speaker system or headphones.

• Web Camera 1080P Full HD

• PC Operating system: Windows 10, or Mac OS X Sierra, or iPad IOS10

• PC Software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• Recommended Internet Browsers - Google Chrome Version 60 onwards, or Safari 10 or


later, or Microsoft Edge 2020 onwards.

• Internet connection 5Mb/sec or faster

Note: If you cannot meet the minimum requirements above you may experience performance
issues or be unable to complete all elements of the course.
NOTICE OF PROCESSING

The Chartered Quality Institute (the CQI) has approved SEQM Training to deliver the

certified course that you are attending.

During or after your course has finished, SEQM Training sends some information about

you to the CQI.

As a registered UK charity, the CQI is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation

(GDPR), a European law that gives you certain rights with respect to your personal data

that is shared with the Institute.

The CQI processes your data in order to:

• Provide you with a verifiable record at the conclusion of the course

• Assess the provider and the training that you have received.

The data we share with the CQI includes your name, your email address, the name of your

tutor, the course in which you are registered, the date of your course and the results of

final assessments that you have completed.

You are assigned a unique learner number when you register for a CQI and IRCA certified

course. The CQI will retain your name, course and exam details, and this unique learner

number in perpetuity, so that it may verify, upon request, that you completed the course

for which you have registered.

The CQI will use your name, email address and course information to send you a

personalised email following the conclusion of your course, in which you will be asked for

feedback on your experience with the course, your tutor and the training provider. The CQI

will also ask you whether you are interested in receiving additional information from the

Institute about the quality profession, the CQI and IRCA, and their products and services.

As a data subject you have certain rights under the GDPR including, for example, the right

to access the data that the CQI holds about you. You can contact the CQI directly or

through SEQM Training to exercise your GDPR rights.
