Increasing focus on placements and real-time training is forcing B-Schools, especially the newer once,
to impart more than just academic teaching. Some of the benefits of inviting an industry expert in higher
education institutes is that they design their own content and teaching material, they teach us and
impart knowledge through their own experience, there is a possible effective utilization of the industry
network of the expert which can help in mentoring, skill development, internships, students' e-portfolio
guidance, career counselling, and placements. They can also help with applied research projects and
case studies and writing or producing white papers and can design training programs based on the
industry. (Parag, 2010) Somewhere deep down in our conscience there may be a hidden agenda. This
intent is often apparent in many a teacher’s style of delivery which may be a product of the market
requirement. Experts said the new system will benefit those students who, for instance, would return to
India after completing a one-year master's programme abroad. At the master's level, the NEP promises
both one-year and two-year PG degrees. (UGC to Introduce industry experts Into University faculty
without PhD or NET qualification, 2022)

2. India's top B-schools have limited seats. Higher edtech companies are filling the gap and ensuring top-quality
management education for the thousands who can't make it to the top B-schools The feeling of discontent about
the present system has initiated new experiments in higher education, the latest being UGC’s declaration about
creating 25 per cent additional seats for foreign students in the colleges and universities across the country. It is
becoming a trend that students completing undergraduate degrees from higher education institutions (HEIs) in
the country aspire to pursue postgraduate degrees from better-ranked HEIs in other countries. The growth in the
number of admission facilitators for foreign Universities points to a continuously increasing number of students
wishing to go abroad.

Education plays a significant and remedial role in balancing the socio-economic fabric of the Country. Since
citizens of India are its most valuable resource, our billion-strong nation needs the nurture and care in the form of
basic education to achieve a better quality of life. This warrants an all-round development of our citizens, which
can be achieved by building strong foundations in education.
