Christian Greetings!

To enhance my profession and versatile skills, I am writing this letter to express my interest to
apply for any vacant position in your respective agency, Department of Agriculture RFO 02,
because I have immersed myself in your groundbreaking achievements and contributions in the
field of agriculture and industry.

To introduce myself, I am Wresler C. Pascua and I am a recent graduate from Cagayan State
University with a degree Bachelor of Science in Biology as a Department of Science and
Technology Scholar. I took my internship at the Department of Agriculture-Cagayan Valley
Integrated Agricultural Laboratory and during that internship, I had the opportunity to learn to
operate the different machines in the different units especially the VITEK machine and
conducted different analysis including the analysis on the aflatoxin contents of corn plant. As a
previous intern, aside from gaining additional knowledge, it really helped me to boost my
potentials, uplift my expertise in laboratory works and gave me the exposure I needed to advance
in my career while using what I’ve learned to make an impact on others. I also won the first ever
biology poster research competition in experimental category we’re I garnered the first place
with my research entitled Burn Wound Healing Potential of Coral Bush (Jatropha multifida)
Leaf Ethanolic Extract and Ointment on Male Wistar Albino Rats. I also attended seminars
regarding on the proper handling of animals in research, basic life supports, fire safety workouts
and career service orientations. I was also given the privileged to host big events in the campus
including pageants, seminars and organizational activities and became a leader of organization in
my college years. I also organized and facilitated blood lettings in and outside the campus.

In addition, I believe that I am passionate and driven in molding my craft, I am certain to push
through with the dedication I have, reliable with the skills and excellence I possess, incapable of
doing lot of things with my versatility and I always open myself to constructive criticisms for the
room of improvements.

As for my qualification, I recently passed the Civil Service Professional Eligibility Examination.

skills in the field of profession that I’ve chosen and I am confident that I will become one of your
