- Effective listening is the ability to accurately receive and interpret messages

in the communication process. Without the ability to listen effectively,
messages are easily misunderstood. It allows us to make sense of and
understand what another person is saying. And we all know that listening is
the key to all effective communication.
2. How will listening help you improve your relationship with other people?

- Listening serves us the purpose of earning the trust of others and helping us
to understand our different situations. Active listening can have many positive
impacts on our life. It allows us to understand the person and we can respond
with empathy. It also allows us to ask questions to make sure that we can
understand what is being said.

3. How will you help students improve their listening skills?

- I can help my students improve their listening skills by enhancing their own
listening skills. We can help them by identifying why listening is very
important. We also make activities for them to enhance their listening skills.
For example, a game like message relay in our class. From this activity, we
can test their active listening skills. As a teacher, we need to guide our
students to pay attention and after we speak, we can also give our students
an opportunity to speak. We need to encourage them that listening is very
important in our life.
