Teaching hours
Theory sessions:
-Thursdays 11:00 - 13:00
-at Classroom 10. The whole group.

Practice sessions:
-Tuesday afternoon, 16:00 - 19:30 at Aula Informàtica 2.
Four subgroups: I1, I2, I3 and I4
Assessment
40 %: Final written exam
Includes one listening exercise and one writing composition

30%: Final PROJECT (team project)


15 %: Text composition + Oral presentation (Same mark
for the whole group)
15%: Oral delivery (Individual mark)
30 %: Tasks + Participation (“prácticas”)
Assessment : TASKS (30%)
5 TASKS
-15%: Three short writings (5% each)
-10%: Two vocabulary and/or translation
activities (5% each)
-5%: Participation in practice sessions
Assesment: SUMMARY
- 40 %: Final exam. 40 points
IMPORTANT! You need a 50 out of 100 in the exam to pass the
subject.
- 30%: Final Project. 30 points
IMPORTANT! Doing the project is COMPULSORY to pass the
subject.

- 30%: Tasks + Participation. 30 points


TOTAL: 100 points
ASSESSMENT A
Standard for all students, gives rights for full marks (100/100)

-Attendance to class sessions is expected. If your absences without justification


exceed 30% of all sessions, you will automatically lose the right to Assessment A
and will be moved to Assessment B. This will be strictly enforced.

IMPORTANT: I will not warn students about their attendance. You must keep track
of your own absences.

-All tasks for both theoretical and practical sessions must be delivered via Aula
Virtual before the deadline.

-You must participate in a TEAM PROJECT alongside a group of students, which


includes an oral presentation in which you will need to speak out loud without
notes for at least one minute.
ASSESSMENT B
This special assessment for students who cannot or will not attend a
minimum of sessions gives right to a maximum of 70% of the marks
(70/100)

---You will need to sit the written exam at the end of the course. ONLY WRITTEN
EXAMS WITH A MINIMUM OF 50/100 WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO PASS THE SUBJECT.

---All tasks for both theoretical and practical sessions must be delivered via Aula
