THINK OF A LEADER IN YOUR
MBER JOUNT LEA R DER
SERVA
COMMUNITY THAT YOU ADMIRE

AND RESPECT What are his/her/their qualities that make you appreciate him/her/their as a leader?
I always admire how much of a good talker my mother is. She's the type of person who would never take "I don't know" as her
response when someone approaches her for help. She makes sure that she can accommodate the people around her, for my
mother believes that it's a great sin to not help those who are in need even though you have what it takes to do so.
As a mother of four children, she always puts us first before herself no matter what. We would have never come this far without
her leading and fighting spirit to make our family happy and blissful.
Such a loving yet fiercely independent woman she is. Even if a storm of problems strikes our way, she is as stable as iron can be. I
aspire to be like her when I have a family of my own, a devoted leader.

REFLECTION
a. How can I respond to the call of leadership?
I shall respond to the call of leadership with consistency and stability, I should be ready for all the pressure and
complications that will inevitably come my way as a leader. I shall refrain from being a pessimist and a discouraging person, I
am a role model to everyone who will follow and trust my capabilities and I must influence them with positivity.
b. How can I develop the gift of servant leadership with the help of my family?
We Filipinos are known to be hospitable and sympathetic. I can develop such a gift by doing acts of service for my family, I
should be the type of daughter who is caring and willing to do what it takes just to ease my parent's or sibling's stress and
responsibilities by cleaning, cooking, & doing other housework. We should always face our misfortunes as a family, we
should listen and open our hearts to each other.
c. How can I live out Christian/servant leadership in the truest sense of the word in the service of my community?
I should see to it that I am a good member of my community who has morality and values. I should serve with wisdom,
knowledge, and a keen understanding of the people around me. I should develop a sense of belongingness in my community
which enables us to build and strengthen our nature of trust, a right mindset and good attitude are the core of what it
takes to lead.
