EXPERIENCE
__________________________________________________________________________________________
Farmers Market Employee July 2021 – August 2022
Farmer’s Daughter Farm Market, Boyce, VA
● I had a variety of tasks and skills for my job like greeting Customers, registering check-out, managing inventory,
making sandwiches and sides, smoking various meats, and answering phone orders.
● I helped plan events to host there for holidays as a way of advertisement for the newly opened Farmers Market.
By hosting bake sales for youth groups like FFA, 4-H, and agriculture related groups at the farmers market
location, it helped bring in a crowd as well as support local organizations.
● I was an active recruiter for more regular customers at the store by advocating for local produce made in our
county by local farms. This helped bring awareness to farms local in our state and county as well as advocate for
health in our community by selling wholesome products.

Dairy Farmer Worker December 2012 – August 2022

Waverly Farm, Clearbrook, VA
● Calf Care Manager, feeding newborn calves on an operated Registered Jersey Dairy Farm, I helped manage
feeding amounts, treatments of sick calves, and helped clean out calf housing to help the health of the calves.
● Helped update PCDART Computer information recording, solely responsible for all inputs to help keep records in
the system accurate on every animal.
● Complete small tasks of farm work like halter breaking, hoof care, grooming, special needs animal care, milk
house cleanings, antibiotic testing, dry cow management, administer ear tags, and dis-bud all calves. This helped
keep the farm operating smoothly and more timely and efficiently.
● During show season, I showed farm animals on a local, state, and national level. Showing helps advertise the
dairy farms genetics of animals as well as look for new advances on farms by walking through trade shows.
