Instructions: Find a comfortable place and reflect on how you would like to direct your life after college. Fill-out the
table below by writing your targets for your career and vocation. List down as many targets as you plan to achieve.
After accomplishing the table above, answer the questions below for your reflection:
1. What do you need to do now to prepare yourself and achieve what you imagine as your career and vocation?
The most crucial thing to keep in mind is the necessity of occasionally updating my current knowledge. Technology
evolves over time, therefore it's important to stay up to date on the most recent advancements in my domains. I
must be aware of my surroundings. I can't think I know everything, that's for sure. Always keep in mind that learning

never ends. Finding out what brand-new applications, trends, or technologies will be in demand in the near future is
the greatest course of action. In the modern world, learning new things doesn't actually need burning a hole through
my wallet. Nowadays, information is accessible with only a click. I only need to set aside some time to go through
numerous sites or resources that will inform me about the most recent and impending advances in the fields in
which I will specialize. In today's world of intense competition, mere educational credentials and degrees are
inadequate. In order to prepare for the future and to confront any scenario with confidence and tenacity, I will need
to hone my current talents.
2. Do the Benildean Expression (BenEx) of the Lasallian Core Values fit into your career and vocation plans? How? If
not, why not?
Yes, say for example, one of my vocations of building a mental health organization. Given this, it portrays ‘one with
the plight of the poor’ and ‘God-centered’. I believe in helping those who cannot help themselves but would if they
could. By valuing our fellow human beings regardless of their status and respecting who they are as individuals with
their dignity, rights, and responsibilities which are essential when we want to establish a community that empowers
everyone to make this world a better place. Moreover, I see service to the community as a way of serving God. By
serving the needs of people from a motive of selfless, supernatural love, that I am not just doing a service project. I
am demonstrating the in-breaking of another reality on earth that is different from the natural order of things.
Another thing, is when working in the future as an HR professional or actress, I can convey being ‘professionally
excellent’ by exhibiting an intrinsic or natural knowledge of the difference between right and wrong, showing the
courage to act upon that knowledge upon doing activities, all while having respect for self, others, and the
community environment.
