Q1 What kind of work is undertaken by you? In army it is all dependant on ranks, as you grown in a rank responsibility starts increasing as it is in private organization. As a major ranks you are jack of all, we have fix schedules, In that schedule we are not mandatory to do only that thing while you are doing that there are multiple things coming up with you. The most important thing is your connect with the men can never go because those are the people you have to fight with so to built up that confidence you have to play sports, you have the office work while you are in the office you cannot disconnect what your men are doing on the ground or they are outside. Since morning we starts with pt with the weather conditions timings do change but the general timings are 5:45-6:00 the parade starts and after that the second parade starts, the second parade starts with mantainence task the equipments you have like radars, missiles, guns.then we disperse to our respective offices and do our jobs and then I look after secretary the people come and under me there are 180 employees Q2 How do you deal with the politics within your organization? Politics is nothing in army, people do faulter in our organization and we have punishment for this. In army there is a teamwork and we have to make a certain level for certain rank. Similarly if there are conflicts between two parties first we have to listen to both the parties and then find a solution. There are acrs where are punishment that is very extreme but if you can find the solution with words them it is the best option. When you argue with someone and use offensive words then obviously it is a punishable offense then some punishment will be given Q3 What are the difficulties/challenges and restrictions faced by you as a government official? Which a person working in the same field but in private sector would never face My two elder brother are working in a MNC so there I found that there is politics. people gangup if the boss has to decide then both the parties opinion should be put up Q4 How do you manage crisis in your organization? Defence people are the best crisis manager because the things keep happening events keep happening and we enjoy it, there are two things is one is to get panic and the other thing is to get all the information till I reach the vehicle and I cannot get panicked in front of my men I need to stay calm as there are hundred things going in the mind but I have only that moment to take the decision whether the decision is wrong or right it will be proved later. As a management prospective there are different appointment to pass the messeges and the next day we will execute this plan according if one of the acknowledge then it does not get passed and the messege reaches you before 30 minutes then also you have to do the task and manage it. Q5 What is the hierarchy model do you follow in your organization? Ans So when I talk about the organization firstly there is commanding officer there is a rank of lieutenant commander/major and we have the other appointment like she is the junior most officer she handle who comes in and goes out in your organization. After that we have 3 battery commaders so in army everyone have to do multi tasking because in army there is no outsourcing.
Q6 What are the difficulties/challenges and restrictions faced
by you as a government official? Which a person working in the same field but in private sector would never face Ans There are lot of bad days for us, you guys can be on facebook share things but we cannot be on any such social media platforms. We need to take permission for each and every thing even if we have to go out to dal lake with our family we have to follow a proper procedure and once we go out we cannot tell anything about us in the army. As an army officer you cannot afford to lose your I-card as you are working as a government officer
Q7 How do you plan different tasks regularly?
Q8 Any sort of guidance and motivation you want to address to the youth of the country? Ans I just want everyone to be passionate in your goal and stay determined, never crib about your job. When you choose your field you should be up and above, you should be approachable and remain down to earth and whatever designation you are holding it should not go to your head and the best thing you have to do is that to motivate others with your designation.
