Do you think employees have a right to say what they want to about their oraganisations
online as opposed to in private?
Ans. So here I have opinion inclining towards both the side.

initially I don’t think it’s a right thing to post something unpleasant about the organisation online.
The person having problem can meet the some of persons in organisation in private who can
undestand the problem and do something to resolve it. Also if he is comfortable to speak the issue in
front of people, he can raise that in board meeting or any other meeting were employees can give
their feedback. Posting about it online will not really resolve the issue but it will end up damaging
the image of organisation. While posting something online the one can be emotionally upset , can do
worst thing but when he will persue right person in organisation, he will talk to him in polite manner
and there are more chances that they will come to solution.

But even after doing all this things, talking to right person your issue is still going on consistently and
every person in oraganisation is noticing it and doing nothing for it then I think one can go online
and post whatever he want along with that should he ready to face consequences if any.

Q2. How would you react if you learned one of your employees posted unflattering comment
about you as a manager? Would your reaction be any different if the employee posted unflattering
comments about you as a person ?

Ans. As a Manager , if my Employee has posted unflattering comment about me I, I would meet him
and talk to him. I would try to know his resion behind commenting on me. I would ask him what I
can change or I can improve in my self so that I can change his opinion about me.

My reaction will be different if the comment is on me as a person. Either I will just ignore him as we
cant go to everyone and tell them to change their opinion about ourself and do like us or if I find
that he has some mis-conception about me and I can clear that with him then I will approch him and
talk to him.

Q3. Do you feel it is acceptable to post comments anonymously, or do you think people should
include their names ? Why or why not ?

Ans.

Yes , I think people should include their names.

People hiding their identity online can be metter of safety.Posting something irrelevant from
anonymous profile can lead to the spread of misinformation, fake news as well as cyberbullying ,
trolling etc.
Many times increase in online abuse is happening beacause the users can hide behind the
anonymous profile which makes it difficult to find who did it.
