Genesis 3:8,9

The God you thought you know.

Why did Adam and Eve hide from their Creator.?

Most likely they had been falsely told that He was autocratic.

Maybe they had been told that He doesn't give second chances, once you mess up with Him you are
finished.

Maybe they had been told many false things about God

Versus, what they had experienced.

The Creator who visited to chat with them.

The Creator who had made them management team of all His creation.

The Creator Who allowed them to grow through overcoming.

It was That picture that made them run away and hide. When in fact God was coming to pronounce
Good news to them, that their problem had been solved before they even sinned.

They were surprised to Hear God pronounce, Enmity between them and the archdeciever.

Their man made garments which represented, man s attempt to deal with sin outside God, were
replaced by garmens made by God, with a salvific meaning.

They were surprised to discover that God Is stronger than their new Friend.

They lost more than they gained.

Summary of what they lost is that they had to leave with a marred relationship with God.

Their problem is our problem Today.

Viewing God with Suspicion.

That His laws are against us.

Even when we are reading His bible. Our minds won't be at ease,ever ready to come across texts that
are against us, from.

We were taught toview His commands as against us.

Haven't you heard people attacking His laws and commandments ,using jargon that seeks to blame God
and justify the sinner.

How about terminologies that attack the law of God,yet the theologians would cry foul if robbed,yet it is
all part of His law.

Even when He came to live with man, They rejected Him,

Why?

The picture of God they carried along with them.

A God who would free them from the Romans, when their real master was sin

How about taking a deep thought and look for Him through the pages of the Bible, without suspicion of
censure , attack orattack.

Reading through the Bible to meet someone and listen to what He says.

It's that picture that will assist

Back to Eden story.

Adam and Eve believed the words. ".. in the day that you eat thereof,then your eyes shall be opened,
and you shall be as gods"..

Eve , in believing the words of Satan, was disbelieving the words of God.

Their sin is above believing a lie,it has to do with not believing the truth.

It is disastrous not to believe God.

To search for truth..

To Eve it was a small thing to disobey, the Law of God.

How often have we heard , people preaching from the Bible that,the law is not binding upon men,urging
that it's impossible to keep the law of God. Forgetting that it was disobedience that causedan to be
banished from Eden.

Sin is transgression of the law,And the wages of sin is death( Romans 6:23).

How about searching the scriptures to meet,God and hear Him speak words of life. Embracing the truth
as it is.
