Upon using the range and IQR, the viewers aged 35 – 49 is higher than the viewers aged 18 – 34. At the same time as
based on the boxplot, it shows that the viewers aged 35-49 is placed higher than the viewers aged 18 – 34. This means
that the former spent more time in consuming the media content across different platforms as compared to the latter.
Having utilized the descriptive analysis, the group figured out that the viewers aged 35 – 49 has more time spent in
watching traditional television compared to the viewers aged 18 – 34. It is indeed true that according to Nielsen, the
traditional television viewing habits vary based on the age of the consumer. Those who are older are more inclined to
spent their time by watching television which results more time spent in watching. Furthermore, those younger may
have opted to spend in consuming media content through streaming devices, in contrast with the traditional one.
