Abstract: The charity organizations lacks in transparency and the supervision of them is difficult to
achieve them, which has the negative impact on willingness of the people to donate. Blockchain as an
underlying technology of the Bitcoin system provides a new solution for the charity system in terms of
technology. This is a proposed charity system based on blockchain technology and expounds the design
pattern, architecture and operational process of the platform. Some core functions of the charity platform
have been realized and verified on Ethereum. We hope to increase the transparency of charities to enhance
the public's trust in charities and promote the development of philanthropy by blockchain-based charity
system.

Keywords: Genuine Charity Tracking.

I. INTRODUCTION
Charity is a critical part of a democratic society. It is known that there are many incidents that take place in this world
which cause tragic loss whether it can be related to wealth or life and cause extensive damage every year. To recover
from various types of losses many afflicted require help from aid agencies which can be financial aid to basic necessities.
People are now becoming voracious to contribute to society. So, Charity is a highly growing sector in today’s world and
it has evolved from its traditional organizational concepts to a decentralized crypto-currency based system. So we are
going to propose a blockchain based decentralized system that acts as a platform to donate money for donors to other
users who have requested for the donation and this entire taking place under maximum security and fulfilled trust. Fake
charities try to take advantage of our generosity and compassion for others in need. Scammers will steal your money by
acting as a genuine charity. These scams not only cost you money but they also divert much needed donations away from
legitimate charities and causes. Bitcoin is one of the leading crypto-currencies in today's world, bitcoin uses the
blockchain technology to provide maximum transparency and security. A blockchain is a decentralized ledger of all
transactions across peer-to-peer networks. By using blockchain technology participants can confirm the transaction
without a need of the central clearing authority, which means the blockchain technology does not require any of the third
party interference.

II. LITERATURE SURVEY

To far, a number of charity fundraising systems have been presented to provide a platform for secure and transparent
transactions in the charitable sector. In this paper, we examine existing charity fund-raising proposals in several domains
and identify research gaps.
The issue of donation system openness has long been a source of debate. The emphasis on transparency, on the other
hand, presents privacy problems for contributors and recipients, with some people seeking to conceal donations or money
receipts. To minimise undesirable consequences, a donation method that ensures transparency and anonymity is essential.
We created a system that protects personal information utilising a one-time account address system based on a blockchain
while emphasising transparency in this research. The created system has the potential to contribute to the development

of a culture and environment of giving that is both sustainable and safe. This article focuses on the practical concerns of
charity contribution fund and material allocation, as well as information release and sharing, charity donation
organisation, and organisation self-management, using blockchain technology as the underlying data book. The study
next analyses the core technologies of the donation service system in terms of overall structure design, particular service
sector design, and functional design, as well as the operational mechanism of the system as it relates to the needs of help-
seeking, receiving, and management users. Donors are suspicious of how their money is spent. Blockchain technology is
currently being used in a variety of industries. The use of blockchain technology allows you to make the process of giving
and receiving money more transparent. It is necessary to build a single platform for tracking donations that will track all
information regarding gifts, transactions, and donors. This article considers the creation of a blockchain-based network
for tracking donations. The System uses blockchain technology to provide contributors, charity foundations, and
recipients with transparent accounting of activities. The charitable platform should have a clear donation path, allowing
public users and contributors to follow and monitor where, when, and to whom charity money are distributed. People
have lost faith in charities as a result of a lack of openness, resulting in a stagnation in social funding. The donor is
completely unaware of the proper use of his contributions. Corruption increases the donor's scepticism. This paper
proposes a decentralised network called Charity-Chain, which is based on the Ethereum blockchain. It enables social
enterprises to operate programmes in a transparent manner by utilising smart contract-based incentives to ensure that
their impact is independently validated and accessible to everybody. This makes it more easier for funders (philanthropic
organisations, impact investors, and small donations) to track their transactions and, as a result, restore their faith in social
organisations.

III. EXISTING SYSTEM

One of the main objective of making an charity application using blockchain is to provide transparency between the
organizations and donors without any third-party inclusion such that they do not lose hope in online donations. Other
objectives includes Trust, Authenticity, Security, Decentralization
Which can be explained as follows:
 Transparency: The obligation or willingness of a charity to explain its actions to its stakeholders is referred to
as accountability. Transparency refers to a charity's commitment to publicise and make available critical
information about itself.
 Trust: To foster trust among different aspects of a nonprofit organisation, such as contributors and members.
 Authenticity: Confirming and authenticating diverse stakeholders and consumers improves transparency and
credibility in the charity sector.
 Security: The major goal of this suggested system is to ensure safe and secure charity transactions by reducing
third-party fraud and interference.
 Decentralization: The system's decentralisation allows the organisation to make transactions secure and
transparent by preventing them from being disrupted or manipulated by other members.

IV. SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION

As illustrated in Figure, we split the platform into four tiers. The application service layer, which encompasses a range
of applications such as account registration, posting charity information, donating funds, and inquiring messages, directly
offers users with platform services. Scripts and smart contracts are included in the smart contract layer. It contains query
techniques, transaction processing, and other information. The blockchain service layer performs the charity platform's
distributed accounting operations, such as package block, get transaction consensus, broadcast block, and synchronise
data to a local database.
To validate our system and illustrate some basic functionalities of the charity platform, we created a charity fundraising
Dapp based on Ethereum. Our solution was tested using the MetaMask Browser Extension, and smart contracts were
created using Solidity. The functions of project creation, We have validated contributing, authorising funds, and
transferring funds using the Dapp.

1. Donor: After successfully logging in, the donor browses the charity projects and chooses one to give to. The
system will check the donor account balance. If the balance falls below a certain threshold, the user will be
prompted to make a deposit. Only when the balance is adequate can the donation be finalised.
2. People in Need: People in need should fill out the rescue information, which will be sent to the charity
organisation for evaluation, and the projects that are accepted will be displayed on the charity platform. The
recipient may check the account balance to learn about the project's progress and then use the tokens to purchase
services or items from cooperative businesses.
3. Corporation: To acquire tokens, the businesses give the relevant services or commodities, such as medications
or books, to the recipients. Charity groups can trade tokens for actual money.
4. Charity Organization: The group can use platform donations to benefit others and apply money to cooperative
businesses for token exchange.

VI. CONCLUSION
We've proposed a decentralised approach for charitable work that uses Blockchain to make it more transparent. Many
people have become more altruistic as a result of urbanisation, which has made them more concerned about others.
However, there are those who seek to make unlawful money in the process. This system will meet both needs of improved
authenticity and security. It will also establish a reliable system and make the entire process more transparent. This will
eliminate the need for middlemen between donations and charitable organisations. The speed and cost of processing aid
are decreased because the method does not rely on a middleman to transfer payments. The scope of the Blockchain
technology is limited due to the unawareness of the value of Cryptocurrency. In a scenario where the banking economy
can collapse, Crypto-Currency will be the only viable option. Systems can be expanded in a global environment.
