I. REGULATIONS

1. FOR THE ORGANIZATION

- The organizing committee will provide candidates’ test per to the judges and to
the professional support unit.
- The organization has the right invalidate the results of the team if fraud is
detected.
- The organizing committee is the one that makes the final decision on the results
of round 1.

2. FOR CONTESTANTS

- Contestants are responsible for securing the confidentiality of their own

content, as well as the important information of the test.
- Contestants need to comply with the regulations, and follow strictly the
submission deadlines.
- Contestants need to immediately notify the organizers of any changes in the
number of members.

II. REQUIREMENTS

Although Artificial Intelligence (AI) was first introduced by John McCarthy -

an American computer scientist in the 1950s, today the term Artificial Intelligence is
really widely known and recognized by the "big guys" of the technology village in
particular and development race in general (McCarthy et al., 1955). In the 4.0
revolution, Artificial Intelligence is increasingly popular and widely applied in all
areas of life such as industry, agriculture, health, education, transportation,
e-commerce, etc. The Vietnamese government recently issued the National Strategy
on AI to 2030, with the goal of gradually turning Vietnam into an innovation center
and placing AI in the Top 4 of the ASEAN region and in the Top 50 of the world.
Your task is to conduct different research activities and then prepare and
present a pitch deck about the development of AI in at least two countries in the group
of OECD as a world representation in terms of its business application and relate it to
Vietnam in the field of economy. Also, you are expected to make an evaluation of the
correlation between two of them as well as the prospects of AI sectors in Vietnam.
Then answer the following questions.
(1) How will the labor force change in the future? What are your recommendations
for the young people? What characteristics are workers and expected to possess
in the near future?
(2) What are the biggest opportunities and threats of Artificial Intelligence to the
Vietnam economy? You might elaborate each of your ideas by giving one
specific example.
(3) What are the demerits of the fast changing world accumulated with the broaden
uses of Artificial Intelligence? What solutions can people take to reduce the
impacts of overperformance of Artificial Intelligence?

II. EVALUATION CRITERIA

thank you slides).
