The turning point : Ever since I had put on excess weight, I had started becoming
breathless. While I work in the food industry, I am also a passionate foodie and that made
me face the brunt. I realized the problem is my unhealthy dependence on fast food and "I started my day

My breakfast: I used to start my day with lukewarm Kadha(with Lemon, Bay leaves, Tulsi
drop, Turmeric powder, Black pepper powder, Black salt, Ginger). I skipped having
breakfast because I was following Intermittent Fasting.

My lunch: I completely stopped having white rice, wheat flour chapatis. I also limited oil,
sugar, table salt and potato consumption. So my lunch was :

A) Green moong dal (sprouted) boiled Soup + 3 Moong dal chilla (without a dropREAD
of Oil)

Apart from the diet mentioned above, here are a few basic diet rules that I made sure to
follow:

-Stopped consumption of White sugar and Table salt.


-Stop having any sort of packaged or fast food and street food
-Drink plenty of water (3-4 liters per day)
-Completed my Dinner by 8 pm.
-Eat plenty of green vegetables, plenty of salads in both major meals.
-Reduce Carbohydrates and fats, increase protein intake and whole grain. READ MORE

My workout and fitness secrets : Since it was the lockdown, I prioritized home workouts. I
started by doing skipping and some freehand exercises, especially the plank move. This
was my regime followed every single day through the transformation.

I am grateful to my family for encouraging me. My father, mother, wife and brothers.
Starting from my morning drink to dinner, they arranged everything for me. They
constantly praised and appreciated my hard work. Apart from this, being consistent and

The first 6 -7 days of your journey are the hardest, once you power through them, 70% of
your battle is done for! Once you start to observe changes in yourself, feel fresher, you'll
never want to go back to your older, lethargic self. That's all the motivation one needs
while trying to lose weight. I also try to keep myself motivated by comparing my old
physique, transformation pictures with what I have now. It keeps my confidence high and
makes me so happy to see the results in front of me.

When I was overweight, my clothes didn't really fit me well but now having lost weight, I
can confidently and proudly go for those. READ MORE

I want to have a super-fit physique and healthy life. My only goal is to keep myself
physically active, fit and healthy. As of now, for the coming years the task before me is to
maintain the body weight that I have achieved. I will also keep skipping and continue
doing freehand exercises.

What are the lifestyle changes you made?


I have left all fast foods and also started drinking 3 - 4 liters of water every day, giving up
sugar and table salt with outside packaged foods, getting up early in the morning for
work out and eating lots of vegetables and whole grains. READ MORE

You need to have patience, as one cannot lose all the extra weight in a few days, nothing
really happens overnight so believe in your efforts. Losing weight and becoming fitter
makes you fitter, energetic and more confident towards life.
