Warm up Greet the pupils, take the absences. Ask pupils How are you?
Brainstorming: Begin with a short revision of the vocabulary. Saying the words chorally and / or individually.
Let`s listen!

 Ask the pupils to hold up their Smiles name tags, smile and say: Smile, we’re the Smiles!
 The pupils repeat after you.
 Explain what smile means.
 Play the CD.
 The pupils listen to the song.
 Play the song again.
 The pupils sing along while waving their Smiles name tags every time the word Smiles is heard.
 Tell the pupils to walk around the classroom and introduce themselves to their classmates.
 At the end of the activity the pupils take turns introducing one classmate to the rest of the class.
