Warm up Greet the pupils, take the absences. Ask pupils How are you?
Check students’ home works.
Brainstorming: Pupils` books closed. Hang the My school poster on the board. Ask for pupils` attention by asking
what do you see in each poster. Revising the vocabulary of the previous lesson,numbers. Invite all pupils to talk.
Use objects around the class to elicit school objects. Ask pupils : What’s this? Elicit their answers and then ask
again: What colour is it? Asking and answering in English.
Workbook activity Open the workbooks, explain pupils what they have to do. Ask pupils to look at number one
and the stars on the schoolbag and draw lines. Pupils take time to complete it and then check with their friends.
Pair work: Draw students’ attention on page 13 . Do the first coloring on the computer then ask them to work in
pairs to complete the task.
Ending the lesson: To reflect their knowledge ask students to say the number, color and school object: ex:three red
pencils
