We appreciate your interest in working with us for Seoul Project Office / Oil Refinery Plant in
Karbala Refinery project, Karbala Iraq. HDGSK, is a South Korean joint venture led by Hyundai
Engineering & Construction that won a $6.04 billion project to build oil refining facilities in
Karbala, Iraq. The joint venture consists of Hyundai E&C, Hyundai Engineering Co Ltd, GS
Engineering & Construction and SK Engineering & Construction.

We hereby offers you the following position with the below mentioned benefits for KRP, Iraq.

Job Title: QA / QC Welding Inspector


Working Days/Hours: 6 Days per week/ 54 hrs in a week
Airplane Ticket: Provided by Company
Food: Provided by Company
Accommodation: Provided by Company
Salary: $1950 per month (Approx)
Start Date: Upon Arrival in Iraq
Vacation: 30 Days in a year

Other Benefits: Accommodation Facilities : one room / person, western and Indian restaurant,
other sport utilities, Commute transportation between camp and site during the working days,
Pick-up service between the camp and local airport, Meals in the camp and the site, Safety tools,
clothes and shoes, Air flight tickets on annual leave, Regarding the security there will be three
level defensive protections ( Military force-Police force – Private Guard force).This are applied
because it is an important project which is for bright future of Iraq as a state own project.

This offer is contingent upon meeting all of the following requirements:

Medical Examination: You are required to submit a medical examination report from a medical
screening provider demonstrating your fitness for deployment to Iraq.

Home Country Background Check Report: You are required to provide Appostile
update from your Ministry of External affairs home country for verification to be badged by
the Indian Government.

Certification Requirement: You will be required to provide a copy of all certifications that are
identified in the job description as required for the position. These certifications must remain
valid for the duration of employment.

Passport: You must have a national passport valid for at least 1 year from date of
deployment.
Permits and Residency: You must be able to obtain and maintain all necessary approvals and
permits to keep a Work Residency if required. Arrangements or these procedures will be
processed through our Sponsor, if applicable, at no cost to you.

International Travel Insurance: You are required to submit an international travel insurance
issued by any US or European insurance provider for a minimum coverage of $100000 for 3
months. Expenses incurred for this will be reimbursed upon joining.

Kindly submit the required documents on or before May 11, 2021, Upon Completion of all
requirements of employment; you will be given 1 year work contract. In case any of requirements
is not met the employment process will be cancelled. Your employment contract will contain all
the terms and conditions of the employment.
Special Note Regarding Iraq Tax Law for HDGSK - JV Employees working in Iraq:

HDGSK - JV is required to withhold Iraqi income taxes from employees working in Iraq. Currently,
the flat rate for Iraq PIT (Personal Income Tax) withholding is up to 15% of the Annual Income for
all employees.

This offer is based upon a vacancy which will be filled by the first available, best qualified
candidate. As a result, we recommend that you do NOT resign from your current position
until you have successfully met all the contingencies identified in this offer AND we have
notified you confirming your authorization to depart from your point of recruitment and
travel to the KRP’s deployment center or the assigned work site to begin working. Any
costs or liability that you incur prior to receiving this notification are at your own
discretion and risk. HDGSK - JV does not assume any liability for your personal
decisions, including your decision to resign from employment.
