recruitment procedure earlier adopted by the members of our HR Team, we found you qualified to work
with our Team. Hence, AL QABAS PETROLEUM COMPANY UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
Seek to employ your services as an expatriate for a regular full-time position with our Company.

THIS DOCUMENT EMBODIES THE APPROVED TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS EMPLOYMENT.

JOB POSITION PROCESS ASSURANCE ENGINEER


MONTHLY You will be eligible to receive $7,450.70 USD Per Monthly /Take-Home (Seven
SALARY Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars, Seventy Cents) Tax Free, USD or AED
equivalent depending on Home country and currency preference.
START DATE 10th December 2020 (Can Be Extended On Application)
STATUS FULL TIME

CONTRACT Three (3) Years Contract. (Renewable).


DURATION
DUTIES You Will Be Required To Perform Your Duties Of This Position, And Any Other Duties The
Employer May Assign To You, Having Regard To Your Current Skills, Training And Experience.
OVERTIME Payment Of Overtime, For Overtime Eligible Positions, You Will Be Paid For All Hours Worked
In Excess.
HOURS OF The Company’s Core Hours Of Operation Are 9.00 AM To 12.NOON (BREAK) START AGAIN
WORK (2PM TILL 6.00PM), Work Days Sunday – Thursday, and Fridays And Saturdays Are Holidays.

ALLOWANCES/ 1. House Furnishings: 65,000.00 AED (Yearly)


ENTITLEMENTS 2. Utilities Allowance : 2,072.00 AED (Monthly)
3. Travel allowance of 5,600.00 AED (Yearly)

B.1 ARTICLE: TERMS OF PAYMENTS
A. We shall pay Employees on satisfactory performance of the services the sum stated above per monthly
or USD equivalent depending on employee’s home country.
B. We shall pay all fees in AED Dirhams or USD equivalent depending on employees’ home country and
shall be paid; 100% locally .

B.2CONSULTING PERSONNEL

You shall be expected to work with a team of prime experienced project personnel’s with the mandate to
provide excellent services.

B.3CONTRACT STATUS

Single and Family Status, with accommodation provided. Kindly indicate if you are relocating to UAE with
your family. Excellent educational assistance / benefits with family status employment.

B.4 FAMILY STATUS– (YOU CAN RELOCATE TO UAE TOGETHER WITH YOUR FAMILY)

Employer shall also take care of employees' travel ticket including that of employees' family only on
employees' early notification to employer and as shall be requested by employee.

B.5 PAID LEAVE PERIOD/ TRAVEL

All Employees are entitled to One (1) month Paid Leave per year which can be taken once at a time or
twice apart one different period. Travel shall be by business class/economy class, or otherwise if
necessary.

However for the purpose of commencement, the cost of travel ticket shall be paid in addition to
travel/excess baggage allowance. Cost shall be substantiated and shall be the rate charged at the
Period/time of purchase.

B.6 EXPENSES BEFORE TRAVEL BY EMPLOYEES

Expenses made/incurred by the employee related to job before commencement of duties or Expenses
made during Travel Plans, Processing of Travel Particulars etc., will be substantiated with receipts and
Employer will reimburse the Employee not later than Five (5) working days after submission of Employee’s
expense Report and Receipts as proofs of such Expenses, Employer however agrees to reimburse fully all
Visa/Health Insurance and Work Permit cost made by Employee, This is to confirm your seriousness of
joining our team.

C.1 RESIGNATION/TERMINATION:

Should you wish to resign OR terminate your employment with us, you will be required to provide 90 days
(3 months) written notice to enable us transition your work.
Termination for Cause, Either party may terminate this Agreement for cause if the other party materially
or repeatedly defaults in the performance of its obligations and has not cured such default within 30 days
of receipt of a default notice specifying the default and the intention to terminate.

C.2 NON-UAE RESIDENTS:


It is our official policy that our employees must pay for their Traveling Papers Processing Including
(HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN) or EMPLOYMENT VISA / Work permit processing cost, as a proof of the
readiness to join our team; they have to contact the ODYSSEY TRAVEL & TOURS LLC UAE and obtain
these documents.

The agreement hereby binds Employer and Employee in that re-imbursements will be made fully to
Employees upon presentation of Expense Reports and Receipts of Expenses.

C.3 UPFRONT PAYMENT OF SALARY


Employees are to note that one-month upfront salary shall be paid as soon as they procure and
process their Employment Documents, Residence Visa/ Work Permit and Health
Insurance Coverage papers through ODYSSEY TRAVEL & TOURS LLC UAE and submit it to
our Human Resources Department for Verification.
This is to enable you settle all domestic needs in your country before travel. As such no excuses
will be entertained on assumption of duty relating to default.

All payment of Salary after assumption of duty in UAE shall be paid into employee’s account locally, this
is in line with the UAE Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws.

C.4 BENEFITS/ACCOMODATION
There are Single and Family Flat Duplex accommodation.
A, Furnished accommodation, 2 Bed room flat for single and 3 Bed room flat for family status, will be
provided. Kindly indicate if you are relocating to UAE with your family.
B, Transportation Allowance: 15% of (Basic Monthly Salary) will be added to your salary.
C, Free Education for Employees children (Only if Employee is coming as a family)
D, Free Medicals care for Employee/Family (Only if Employee is coming as a family)
E, Dietary options, Customized cooks and Dieticians are available options. In case of local dishes, we have
Chefs from various countries to handle such.

C.5 TELECOMMUNICATION/ INTERNET FACILITIES


There are standard Telecommunication Facilities and Internet services at the disposal of all expatriates,
and it shall be accessible to all Personnel (Local/Foreign) without any charge or expenses to be incurred.
Cellular Phones can be obtained by expatriates from the Local dealers/Service Providers in Work
Metropolis but must be used in accordance with the safety regulations on Job Locations.

D.1 MEDICAL EXPENSES
Employer will provide the employee with comprehensive Health care for the term of contract, and follow-
on care for injuries suffered during the term of contract for employee and family.
D.2 SAFETY & SECURITY
Safety and Security of personnel (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Job Locations and communities are no
small issues, and have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free operations. All
operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE)
Policy as applicable in the Oil and Gas Sector.

All expatriates are entitled to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be delivered by
qualified safety and environment experts.

All safety wears shall be provided by the Company at Job Locations such like Safety Coveralls, Gloves,
Goggles, Helmet and Safety Shoes etc. as applicable in the Oil & Gas, Engineering and Construction
Sector.

D.3 ADDITIONAL SERVICES


Recreational/Sports Facilities shall also be made available at the disposal of all expatriates with no
expenses to be incurred. Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service will also be made available to all Expatriates
by the company's laundry and dry cleaning unit.

D.4 TRAVELING DOCUMENTS PROCESSING HEATH INSURANCE/WORK PERMIT PAPERS.


The Employee is requested to Contact Mr. Sammy Kenny of - ODYSSEY TRAVEL & TOURS LLC UAE,
With the below office address through email, who shall be responsible for the processing of his or her
Valid UAE RESIDENCE VISA/WORK PERMIT /HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE and then should forward it
to the HR DEPARTMENT of AL QABAS PETROLEUM COMPANY ARAB EMIRATES for Verification and
authenticity confirmation.

Hence any expenses incurred by employee during the processing of his documents shall be refunded to
the candidate after 3 working days of concluding all Immigration/Labour UAE arrangement.

Note that all U.A.E based employees' are to report personally to our office with identification materials
for signing and collection of hard copy of their contract documents. This is in line with the expatriate
statuary law of the United Arab Emirates.

Please note that our official travelling Consultant, ODYSSEY TRAVEL & TOURS LLC- UAE Will be handling
your travel needs, including HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE, Resident Visa /Work Permits papers
procurement and transfers within the United Arab Emirates.

Note that you will be responsible for your travel expenses, and AL QABAS PETROLEUM COMPANY
UAE will refund only travel expenses made through our travel Migrant agency to you. This reason is to
have a confirmation of your availability and as a proof of your seriousness and commitment to join our
working team.

Note: For GCC Citizens: If you are Citizens of GCC,You do not need a visa to travel to Emirates of UAE
You should obtain employment HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE/WORK PERMIT PAPERS . It is your
responsibilities to contact our Migrant Agency and send them the last page of the signed acceptance.

Please carefully review this three (3) years offer agreement between you and our organization, this offer
is governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates and AL QABAS PETROLEUM COMPANY UNITED ARAB
EMIRATES.
