APPENDICES
The existing MIDOR Refinery will be revamped to increase its current capacity of
100,000 BPSD to 160,000 BPSD in order to maximize the production of middle distillates
and produce no fuel oil products for two crude blends:
• CRUDE A - Arab Blend (50% of Arab Heavy and 50% of Arab Light)
• CRUDE B - MIDOR 2010 Blend (a blend of 11 different crudes).
The expansion project is covering modifications in existing facilities and installation of new
facilities, as follows:
1. Unit-17: (New Crude / Vacuum Distillation Unit) with a design capacity of 60,000
BPSD.
2. Unit-19: (New UOP Licensed Solvent De-Asphalting Unit) with a design capacity
of 20,164 BPSD.
3. Unit-47: (New Cooling Water System Unit) with a design flow rate of 15000 m3/h.
The bidder will be responsible for performing the following work for MIDOR REFINERY
EXPANSION PROJECT.
1. Chemical Cleaning of Suction lines for CDU Overhead Vapor Compressors (17-K-
01A/B) in Unit-17.
2. Degreasing of Amine Circuit in Unit-17.
3. Chemical Cleaning forUnit-19 Boiler Feed Water Piping.
1 4. Chemical Boilout for 19-E-05. (OPTIONAL)
1. To provide Engineering and Execution of the steam blowing service for high

pressure, medium pressure and low pressure steam piping including the main
headers, sub-headers and branched lines till end users of Units 17,19,47 and 61
(Scope-1).
2. To provide steam blowing temporary material/equipment, fabrication and erection
services (Scope-2). (OPTIONAL)
3.1 Bidder shall consider that 2544-00-MS-1393-07 Job Specification For Start-Up Chemical

Specification for Chemical Cleaning for CDU Overhead Vapor Compressors 17-K-01A/B
piping in unit-17 and 2544-0A-MS-0093-16 Technical Specification For Degreasing Of
Amine Circuit In Unit-17 are part of this application sheet, therefore bidder shall carefully
read, apply and stick to all the technical requirements and duties mentioned in them and
consider them obligatory (Bidder shall refer to Appendix-1).
1 3.2 Bidder shall calculate and quote for his estimated quantities of chemical solution in
Gallons/Kilograms per each loop.
3.3 Drying by inert gas for each system should be performed after completion of chemical

cleaning services and system preservation under a slightly positive nitrogen pressure (0.5
to 1 Barg.).
3.4 Bidder shall quote a detailed procedure for job execution as well as chemicals safety data
sheets and site safety instructions.
3.5 Bidder shall avail field laboratory to perform all required tests and analysis for job
execution.

3.6 Bidder shall consider the acceptance criteria for the Chemical Cleaning/Degreasing activity
via Borescope device with a suitable length and camera size to inspect the system from
different entry points with different sizes after job completion.
3.7 Bidder shall consider the acceptance criteria for the Chemical Boil out activity via
1 Licensor/Vendor Instructions (Optional Scope)
3.8 Bidder shall perform final reinstatement of the dismantled connections, flanges and piping
spools by applying flange management method.
NOTE: In case of extra consumables quantities consumed during job execution within the
1 scope of work, this will be on bidder cost and will not back charged to Enppi.
The bidding documents shall include, but not limited to, the following:
1. Organization chart at the field and persons of each shift, the minimum team
Personnel required for each shift shall consist of one supervisor, two technicians and
three helpers for the job.

The successful bidder shall provide Enppi with the following documents for review and
approval prior to proceeding to site work.
Four copies of the final report will be submitted in bound volumes. The report shall
include the following documentation (as a minimum)
1. The bidder shall define in his quotation the required period to execute the

work.
2. Within this period, the bidder shall submit his detailed execution schedule to
suit the requirements of this application sheet.
3. The bidder will be notified two weeks prior the starting date for mobilization
2. Client will provide the HP, MP & LP steam satisfactory to execute the job.
5. Bidder shall perform the engineering phase for the job execution requirement.
6. Bidder shall avail all required material & equipment for job execution at site.
7. Bidder shall quote a detailed procedure for job execution as well as site safety
instructions.
8. Bidder shall calculate steam capacity required to blow out each user separately
according to required cleanliness factor and avail a properly sized temporary
flow meter device to be installed upstream the circuit to be blown to verify
steam flow rate.

2. Bidder may avail the required heavy lifting equipment and scaffoldings for
temporary piping and equipment erection during the execution period. (on
Unit rate Basis)
NOTE: In case of extra consumables quantities consumed during job execution within the scope of

The bidding documents shall include, but not limited to, the following:
1. Organization chart at the field and persons of each shift, the minimum team

2. Detailed execution schedule (in hour) versus recommended blowing rate option I /
option II per each service (HP / MP/ LP).
3. C.V’s for all proposed field team personal.
4. Lump sum price to perform the work as described in section 2.2 using the price
breakdown list of the material requisition.
The successful bidder shall provide Enppi with, but not limited to, the following
documents for review and approval prior to proceeding to site work.
