1-how is the red death desease described at the beginning of the story?

-They describe it as a disease that when a person was touched by the red death they immediately
felt pain and soon after began to bleed from all parts of the body and thirty minutes later they
were already dead.

2-what did the prince Prospero do with a thousand of his friends?

-He invited a thousand of his strong and brave friends to stay with him in one of his castles, far out
in the country, and there the Red Death could not touch them.

3-describe the 7 rooms in your own words.

-The rooms are described as the first is a blue room and its windows are deep blue, the second is a
purple room and its windows are also purple, the third is green and its windows are green, the
fourth is orange, the fifth is white , the sixth violet and the seventh was a deep blood red;
Depending on the color of the room, its windows were of that same color, and in the rooms the
only light that was found was that of a campfire in a metal basket.

4-what happened when the clock made the sound at 12?

-When it rang at 12 o'clock, the musicians stopped playing and the wildest dancers stood still,
silent and afraid listening to the passing of the other hour, people looked at each other and began
to laugh to pretend they had not been scared.

5-describe the party they had

-The prince had planned everything, even in the changing rooms that they had in each room, these
dreams walked and danced, the clothes in each room were changing color, the rooms were full of
life and pleasure; the people danced, sang, talked and laughed. The sound of happy men and
women echoed throughout the castle.

6-what do you think about the people's reaction when they saw the hall masked man?

-I understand that people get scared but if they didn't see the figure up close they could confuse it
with someone else or if they saw it up close there I do understand why they get scared since the
figure was stained with blood and the face was like that of a dead person.

7-who do you think the mall masked man was?

-It is clearly the red death since they describe it as being stained with blood and the face was like
that of a dead man.

8-why did Prospero die?

-because when the figure began to go through all the rooms until he reached the black one, the
prince took a sword and approached and raised the sword, then the figure turned and a loud cry
was heard and the sword fell along with the body of the prince on the black carpet.
9-why did the thousand people die and why did the black clock stop?

-When we removed the mask from the figure, we found nothing, so they understood that the red
death was there, so one by one they fell dead and the black clock stopped ringing when the last
person fell dead.

10-what did your opinion about the fact when people have a lot of money that they think they
could buy everything?

-when people have money they have in mind to buy everything as in the story that as the prince
had enough money he invited his friends to make them suppose that they would be saved from
the red death but not since money does not buy everything.
