The 72-inch wide, roll-to-roll MODEL Y printer is a special designed sublimation
printer. Offering new levels of quality and productivity for Transfer printing on various
products. This printer was specifically engineered with Kyocera Print head for the dye
sublimation industry. It’s suitable to print onto the different kinds of transfer paper whether
thinnest or thicker. High print speeds of up to 200 Sqm/H can be achieved in C-M-Y-K
four-color mode. Special Atexco inks with enhanced resolvability improve print production
yields.

MODEL Y was specifically engineered for the dye sublimation industry. Designed to print
onto the various range of transfer paper from thinnest to thickest. It’s also includes a
number of technologies that enable printing on thin transfer media, while maintaining
extremely high quality output.
3. Media handling system
A powerful feed platen holds media taut, while larger media press plates minimize cockling
by reducing media uplift immediately after printing. The Auto Media Feeder applies
calibrated tension to the media, maintaining stable and precise media feed and take-up.
Can use 600 Meter to 1200Meter Paper Roll depends on paper gsm .

7. Print head overview：
Kyocera Corporation (President: Tetsuo Kuba) announced that it has developed a new
600 dots-per-inch (dpi) inkjet print head — a key component for commercial inkjet printers
— which enables simultaneous Single-color printing with just one print head. With
resolution of 600dpi, it offers the world's fastest printing speed*1 of 152m/min.

9. Separate Ink Supply System:-

Ink supply system at right side of main body which adds attractive look for MODEL Y. Also
very Convenient for adding ink.
Environmental requirements of ink-jet printer

● Temperature is generally controlled at 22~25 degree centigrade and RH at 50%~70%.
● The ink-jet printer shall be protected from direct radiation of sunshine, strong light, wind
or heat source.
● The surrounding of the ink-jet printer shall be left with sufficient space for normal
ventilation.
● The working place shall be clean and free of dust and no fire.
● The printer shall be fixed on stable ground, instead of on inclined ground.
