CV – long, covers your entire career, static.
Resume – short, no particular format rule, highly customisable.
What countries is only CV used in?
In the UK, Ireland and New Zealand, a CV is used in all contexts and resumes aren’t used at all.
What of application documents will you use in the USA?
Resume is the main document when applying for a job in the USA.
