THE LION AND THE SNAKE

One hot afternoon the lion was hungry and decided to find some food, while
walking he saw a snake picking the only apple on the apple tree. He then walked
towards the snake and said “Give me that apple or I will kill you” “But I am hungry
too” the snake replied. The snake got worried about what the lion said in result she
decided that they can split the apple into half. “We can both have an apple by
splitting it into two.” The lion did not agree about what the snake said that he got
mad, without a hesitation the lion come running towards the snake to attack her. The
snake got hurt in result the apple fell from her grip. The apple rolled and fell down
into the water that is full of crocodiles. The snake did not know what to do and
started crying “Oh no, my apple” the snake whispered. The lion got mad and put all
the blame on the snake “This is all your fault, if only give me the apple earlier this
would not happened” “It’s your fault too if you did not attack the apple wouldn’t fell”
the snake replied and crawled away. The lion then left to find another food to eat,
while walking he reached to a river that is very clear that he could even see the fishes
swimming in it. He jumped into the water but unexpectedly the river is too deep for
his reach and the water current is strong, and the lion doesn’t know how to swim. He
screamed and he scream but no one heard him, the lion loses his hope that he would
survive. Suddenly he felt a tight griped on his tail, and it was the snake that wrapped
him. “Do try to run but in backward directions so I can pull you” the snake shouted
and the lion did what the snake said. The lion was saved by the snake “Thank you,
but why did you save me after what I did to you earlier?” the lion ask, panting.
“Because you need help” the snake said, the lion did not ask further questions
because he already figured out what the snake meant by that. “I’ll catch dinner for
us, because obviously you catch swim” the chuckled and crawl back to the river to
catch some fish. That night the snake and the lion eat their dinner together and both
decided to become friends. THE END.
