Kienyeji Chicken Soup

Mildly spiced traditionally brewed chicken soup

Ingredients

700g bone-in chicken (thighs, wings, backs, or necks)


1 cup carrots peeled and sliced
1 cup celery sliced
1/2 cup onion
Water (enough to fill the Instant Pot to the 10-cup mark)

Instructions

1.Place all the ingredients in the Instant Pot.


2. Use the manual setting to cook on high pressure for 90 minutes.
3. When the broth has finished cooking, either perform a quick
release or allow the pressure to release naturally.

4. Skim the scum from the soup.


5. Serve with the chicken meat and vegetables.
