you agree!
Eunice: Yes Ma’am Mae Ann! Grabe jud ang shagit nuh! It is so great to know that
reading will never be outdated!
Mae: Precisely! And today is indeed a very momentous event most especially that our kids
are here for us to celebrate…..

……………………………………………Mystery Reader’s Time………………………….…

story like….. “may kilala ba kayong sobrang taas ang tingin sa sarili?” etc…..
Mae Ann and Eunice: Thank you so much to our Mystery Reader of the Day!
Eunice: Ang tanong, Alam nyo ba kung sino ang ating magandang binibini sa likod ng
pulang maskara????
Mae Ann: Sino sa tingin ninyo mga bata????? Walang iba kundi si………
Eunice and Mae Ann: Si Teacher Abegail Ezra N. Abella!!!! (Tanggalon niya iyang mask)
Mae Ann: Talagang tunay na napakaganda tulad ng rosas ang ating mystery reader! At
angking kagandahan at kakayahan!
Eunice and Mae: At walang sinuman ang may karapatang manghusga!
Mae Ann: With that Mam Nice, it is truly evident how reading plays an important role to
the lives not only of our school children, but also to everyone! Reading is an exercise for the
mind. It helps kids calm down and relax, opening doors of new knowledge to enlighten
their minds. Kids who read grow up to have better cognitive skills. With that, Reading is
good for everyone.
Eunice: Yes! As we all know, through reading, we can learn life lessons and moral
dispositions from the story being heard or read. With that, we can apply that to our
personal lives. We learn to empathize with characters in the books. Moral codes such as
goods things will be appreciated and evil things will be punished take root to our minds too.
Mae Ann: Indeed! Moreover, By reading books, you get a glimpse of other cultures and
places. Books expand your horizons, letting you see other countries, other people and so
many other things you have never seen or imagined.
Eunice: Definitely! As what they say, almost all great leaders were readers. One reason
they are respected and known for their wisdom is because they develop a healthy reading
habit. For centuries, reading has been the source of inspiration, growth and new ideas. It is
a valuable investment in one’s own personality with uncountable and long-lasting benefits.
Mae Ann: Truly, Reading has a tremendous effect in fueling all aspects of our personality
and enhancing our linguistic prowess. In fact, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the entirety
of human life depends on it. Whatever we grow up to become in our lives, no matter where
we stand, reading has somehow shaped it.
Eunice and Mae ann: Undeniably, those are just few out of the tons of benefits to gain if we
continually take time to read.
Mae Ann: With that, as we depart from this gym, let us not forget how reading touches the
lives of many! And for us to formally close this kick off ceremony, let us call in, our school
principal, Mam Viola S. Esparagoza for his closing remarks. A resounding round of
applause please!
