PRINTING: Before printing, be sure that your scaling is set to “no scaling” or “100%”.
Print page 5 first and measure the test boxes to be sure you’re printing to scale. Even
1/16” discrepancy can throw your whole pattern off.

TAPING GUIDE: Use the following chart as a guide to tape the pattern together. The small triangles
will help you line up the pages, and they also indicate where pages will be taped together. If no tri-
angle is present, that side will not be taped. To save paper you can skip pages 13 - 16 and just mea-
sure piece 4, which is a rectangle. The dimensions are 3”x26.5”. Cut two.

TIP: The fastest way to trim a

PDF pattern is to stack multiple
pages and cut off the top and
left margins from each page.

CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS 4
IMPORTANT NOTE: First use pattern piece 2 to cut a side piece on the fold out of main
fabric, lining, and interfacing. After all three of these pieces have been cut, cut the pat-
tern piece 1 (base) out and proceed to the following cutting instructions. Alternately, you
can trace piece 1 onto a piece of large paper and keep piece 2 intact for future use, or just
cut your own circle with a 13” diameter.

- Cut 1 base from fabric, lining, and interfacing (pattern piece 1)

- Cut 1 trim on fold from contrast fabric (if desired) (pattern piece 3)
- Cut 2 handle opening facings from contrast fabric (if desired) (pattern piece 4)
- Cut 2 handles from contrast fabric (if desired) (pattern piece 5)

44” wide fabric (pieces 2 and 3 will have to be cut

on the cross grain because of their length)
