Course Duration
2 Hours This course covers the prerequisite configurations required to use Dell EMC
AppSync to protect VMware environments. This course demonstrates the
steps that are required to configure AppSync service plans, and mount and
unmount datastore copies. The considerations and options when restoring
either datastores or virtual machines are also discussed.
Audience
This course is intended for anyone who will support AppSync in VMware
environments.
Prerequisite Knowledge/Skills
To understand the content and successfully complete this course, students
must have a suitable knowledge base and skill set. The students must know
how to navigate the AppSync Web Console. The students must have
familiarity with enterprise applications and platforms including Linux,
VMware, and Dell EMC storage arrays.

It is recommended that students with no prior knowledge or experience with

AppSync complete the following courses:

• AppSync Concepts
• AppSync Installation, Upgrade, and Implementation
