“The Path that I’ll Create”

"If you can imagine it you can create. If you can dream it, you can become it." A
quotation by William Arthur Ward.

These texts contain the search for dreams, whether they be absurd, simple, or take you on
a journey. Throughout the texts, the we can simply imagine and realise that dreams of each
persons represented in a different way.

As youngsters, we are instructed to dream big where nothing is impossible. We are

conditioned to think, "You can accomplish everything you set your mind to." But didn't we all
have aspirations for what we would become as adults? Doctors and attorneys, queens and
princes, hunters and veterinarians, educators and magistrates. We had so many dreams, and we
still have, so why don't we all chase them? Is it because we are afraid of failing? Or perhaps it
was those few who brought us back to earth with such a thud that our fondest hopes were
crushed under us. First, as very young children, we are given contradicting messages that
encourage and drive us to believe in the impossible, and then, as we get older, we are told to be
realistic. We cannot all become what we once desired. We were advised, "maybe don't dream too
large, this is the real world," and, "no, really, what do you want to be?" They were the shattered
spirits that took down so many of us with them.

I believe that, in true ways we must follow to have the best future life we could possibly
have. Looking around the earth, we will find all kinds of people existing in the world. I think
why those people are different from each other. It might be a difficult task to study which factor
influences and drives them different. It is lucky that I am the one among who knows that my
special factor is my dream.

Over my lifetime I would like to achieve many things, but there are three main things I
would like to accomplish: to be a triumphant person, help my loving parents and most especially

1
to serve my fellows. I have been exhilarating by my dream, from the day I knew why I came into
the world to so far and even in future, which is making me different from others. It is a goal, an
aim, a direction for my life. It is not something strange from outside, but it comes from inside.

It is to be an police officer. At first, I could hardly decide what I want to be in the future
because there are so many choices available in my mind. But at this time, I am at the crossroads
where I have to make decisions, specifically choose my course in the college and at the same
time, my profession. With all the sacrifices and eschews that my parents are exerting just to send
me to school, I don't have reasons not to give my bests all the time. T

Furthermore, this is my second dream. At the time when I have my job and something to
make them feel so proud of me, I would like to give them the best life. I would like to make them
feel comfortable and see sweet smiles on their faces. This is really the one I like to achieve in my
life; mountains of words can't explain how much I love and appreciate them. I would like to
share all of my knowledge and values learned to my fellows, especially to the young people in
the future, by serving them with unconditional, whole-hearted and without any ambiguity or
doubts.

Overall, this really shows my parents' and mine compassion and charitable heart for
others. My simple dreams are for others but they make life worth living for me. I, together with
my parents, have a simple means of living; but because of firm determination, strong faith in
God, good values and virtues | assure that we will have the best of life in the future not because
of the luxuries but the richness of love, compassion for people and passion for God. These are
my dreams, and my inspiration with which I have to work on for the future.
