NAME OF THE Paddle Goal

GAME:
Description: The paddle goal is a racket game that consists of scoring goals in the opposite goal.
Is a team sport in which two teams of five players each (one plays as a goalkeeper) pass a ball
using a racket with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team.
A standard match has two 20-minute halves with a 10- or 15-minute halftime intermission.

Court: Paddle Goal is played on a court 40 by 20 metres as well as a handball court, with a goal in the
centre of each end. The goals are surrounded by a near-semicircular area, called the zone or the
crease, defined by a line six meters from the goal. A dashed near-semicircular line nine metres
from the goal marks the free-throw line. Each line on the court is part of the area it
encompasses. This implies that the middle line belongs to both halves at the same time.

People: Two teams of five player, one plays as a goalkeeper.

Rules: 1. Each player wields a racket that is the instrument with which the paddle ball that is played
can be played.
2. The goalkeeper will also have a racket. You can never clear with your hands but you can do
it with your feet. You can leave your area and play like the rest of the players and you cannot
use your feet.
3. Any contact of a racket with the body of another person will be considered a foul.
4. Penalty will be issued if a defender touches the ball with his hand, including the goalkeeper.
5. Fouls, throw-ins and penalties shall be governed by the same rules as football.
