Countries during the time of Former DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones./ If we
made it successfully during those days,/ why not today?/ So,/ here we are/…we
find ways,/ we serve because we are part of the Big DepEd Family./
We are truly happy with your presence today./ We are happy that we become
part of this historic endeavor,/ where we are one with in you in the belief that a
timely, complete and accurate quarterly financial accountability reports will at
the end, benefit our whole organization,/ and gives the best advantage to our
learners./
Your coming here in Bohol is once again a blessing for all of us./ A blessing to
the Boholanos who are economically dependent on the tourism activities of our
place./ A blessing because you would some how/ and someday become our
ambassadors of promoting the best of eco- cultural highlights of our Bohol and
the goodness of our people./ It is a blessing because/ you give us the
opportunity to express once more/ our spirit of friendliness immortalized in the
first treaty of friendship between the Spaniards and Filipinos, /The
Blood compact between Legazpi and Sikatuna popularly known as
"Sandugo"/ which means "one blood"/ denoting our being amiable,
welcoming and warm people.
I know how important is this national workshop./ That is why you look
for a venue where it is facilitative to the fulfillment of its objectives./
The significance of this gathering is also as significant as all of us are
mindful on the attainment of our mission/ that is to ensure an
enabling and supportive environment for effective learning to happen.
So,/ we will journey together on this workshop and listen one another
and each other/ and grow together for a more responsive budget
division and finance services. /You are accountable to the organizing
team on our outputs and deliverables/…but DepEd Bohol is
accountable for your safety and memorable stay in Bohol./
