III. Summary:
On November 10, 2021, Day 3 of E-Sports Week was started by listening to a
nationalistic song “Tagumpay nating Lahat” by Lea Salonga and followed by a
prayer.Afterwards, Mr. Reden Cruz gave an encouraging message to all the
participants of the activities for this day as this was the last day of the E-Sports
Activities.

The first activity for this day was Battle for 3rd and Championship Best of 3
Games Mobile Legends facilitated by Mr. Ardie Domingo and Mr. John Kevin
Calara. The game was simultaneously watch via Zoom and Facebook live. The
sections that fought for the 3rd place were 11 STEM and 12 STEM. After their
long fight, the section who won the battle for 3 rd was 12 STEM. Next match was
the most awaiting game as this was the battle for championship between 12 TVL
ICT and 11 HUMSS. The two teams both perform an intense game. The shout
casters have no clue who will win because of both teams’ comeback potential.
After another two long games, the champion has been proven and it is none other
than 12 TVL ICT.

Next activities are Mr. and Ms. E-Sports and Bingo that was held
simultaneously, Bingo being facilitated on break-out room in Zoom platform.
Mr. and Ms. E-Sports was facilitated by Ma’am. Cherry I. Garcia and she
introduced the judges and they are: Ma’am Maribel Victoria, Ma’am Bonna lyn

Robles, and Ma’am Maribel Bonus. The criteria for judging the candidates are
presented by Ma’am. Diane O. De Jesus. After the criteria, the candidates per
section was presented together with their sports attire and they are:

Moving on, each candidate was asked in the Question-and-Answer portion and all
of them showed their knowledge and confidence.

The CMIS -Sto. Rosario Esports Week –Bingo Contest was conducted last
November 10, 2021 (9:00-11:30am) headed by Emmanuel B. Cabrera, Special
Science Teacher I with Van Arvin V. Fonbuena, Teacher I, Catherine D.J.
Marcos, Teacher I and Shiela Lomotan, Teacher I.

It was started by a prayer video presentation and an explanation rules and

mechanics of the game. The game is composed of three rounds. Each round has a
unique pattern to fill. Players are provided with electronic bingo card to use all
throughout the game. The first round is composed of 30 players and only the first
10 players who will draw a 3 by 3 square will move on to the second round.
Round will only choose the first 10 players with triangle on their card. Lastly, the
winners will be awarded if they have a circle pattern on their card. After a long
game of bingo, winners have been selected.

The results of the 3-day event of E-Sports Week are now gathered and the
winners are presented in an awarding ceremony via Zoom and Facebook live. It
was truly a successful event for Senior High School teachers as well as students.
Each winner, group or individual are given their prizes. The program was ended
by the closing remark led by Mr. Reden A. Cruz, Master Teacher I.

IV. Actual Result

The E-Sports week provides enjoyment to the learners, it also led to the good
and harmonious relation between the learners and teachers. It also provides learning
how to cooperate with their teams, discover their hidden talent and practice
sportsmanship. Some activity also since no students wanted to join became a fun
bonding for teachers and everyone enjoyed it.

V. Problem Met
There is a problem with the internet connection and some technical difficulties in
Facebook live.

VI. Lesson Learned

During this pandemic time, all of us are affected emotionally, physically, mentally
and financially, the use of computers and technologies brought both positive and
negative effects on our mental health. The modules really also affect the learners
in both positive and negative ways, and in order to cope with the negative effects

of the distance learning to the learners, the SHS department conducted these
recreational activities, for the enjoyment of the learners, it is important to give
them some activities that they will enjoy even amid pandemic to cope with the
negative effects of pandemic. The learners also learned to cooperate even in
virtual activities.

VII. Sustainability:
Esports week activities are significant for teachers and learners be to enjoy and
cooperate to teachers and other students. We experience different kinds of battles
each day and we should not forget to love our mental health. This also becomes
an avenue to reach out to our learners and remind them the things that they should
avoid, and they should do.
