    COLLOCATIONS OF TIME

    • Spend time – I spend a lot of time with my family.

    • Waste time- I waste a lot of time playing videogames. I should do my homework.

    • Make time for – I must make time for my sport activity.

    • Free time – I have not got lot of free time during the day.

    • Spare time- I will use my spare time to go shopping.

    • Kill time – I am killing time until my swimming lessons starts.

    • Precious time – We are wasting precious time. Let’s do something!

    • On time – I arrived on time to the train station.

    • Save time – I will have lunch at the office to save time.

    • Take your time – Take your time to finish your homework, do it carefully

    • In time – I arrived home in time to watch the football match.

    • Take time off – Take time off! go on holidays and rest.

    • Run out of time – We are running out of time. We must hurry up.

    • Leisure time – I spend my leisure time playing with my friends.
