CANALS DIVISION- ONGOING WORKS

Canals Division of IDRB is engaged in designing various irrigation structures such as
Check dams, VCB, Aqueduct, Syphon, Covered Flume, RCB, Tractor ways, Box Culverts, Foot
Bridges, Boat terminals, Navigational Locks, Retaining walls, Bunds, Coastal Protection,
regulator cum bridge, side protection works etc. Currently, there are 25 design projects out of
which 16 numbers of works are ongoing and remaining 9 numbers are awaiting details which
shall be designed as soon as the details are received.
