FIX: NETFIX ADS PLAN ERROR “YOUR PLAN DOES

NOT SUPPORT STREAMING ON THIS DEVICE”

Netflix is a subscription-based streaming service platform.

They are streaming their TV series, movies, documentaries
etc. in more than 30 languages and across 190 countries.
There are best-in-class TV series, documentaries, feature
films, mobile games to entertain Netflix subscribers according
to their taste.
Netflix offers a variety of plans to meet their customers
entertainment needs.
Now Netflix has launched their new Basic Ad-supported plan
in 12 countries. The plan is available in the U.S., U.K., Canada,
Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Japan,
Mexico, and Spain. Netflix has not shared any details about
extending the ad-supported tier to other regions. But the
company will most likely extend it to other countries in the
coming months.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ‘BASIC’ AND
‘BASIC AD-SUPPORT PLAN’?

The new plan will cost $6.99 per month, which is $3 cheaper
than Netflix’s current cheapest plan - $9.99 (Basic plan).
It is important to mention that the older Basic plan is ad-free
and while the new low-cost basic plan will feature ads.
The video ads of new plan will be from 15 second to 30
seconds long as per BOD.
“We are looking at a very light ad load with no more than
four to five minutes of ads per hour, and including some very
light frequency caps so that members do not see the same ad
repeatedly”, Peter said.

your device:

basic with ads plan across many countries.

device like Google TV to work with the new Netflix ad-
supported plan. Anyone who tries to stream Netflix in other
devices through Chromecast they all will see the following
error message:

Your Account online to change your plan.”
The error code is aip-703, R7111-1331.
Netflix mentions on its help pages that the new ad-supported
plan is only available on Chromecast with Google TV,
meaning that only newest models bought after September
2022 is able to stream with Netflix ad-supported plan.
Now the subscribers who bought 4K version Google have to
upgrade their plan from Basic ad-supported to Basic plan as
they want to stream Netflix through Chromecast.
Apple TV problem Fix:
The same is true for any Apple TV. On Netflix’s help center
page for people encountering the error “Basic with Ads is not
supported,” Netflix notes that “Basic with ads is not
supported on Apple TV.”
Subscribers will need to upgrade their Netflix plan to the
Basic, Standard, or Premium plan. Or else subscribers need to
use a different device which links to Netflix’s list of officially
supported devices.
Netflix told 9to5 Mac in a statement that Apple TV support is
“coming soon”.
