-Students will be able to show their understanding of Gothic and Transcendentalism authors by their written
and verbal responses.
-Students will be able to select a topic for their Unit 2: Descriptive Essay.

-Students are provided with examples and sentence frames.
-Students have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the lesson.
-Students have access to the Nearpod and lesson recording to review at their own pace.
